Well, registered anyway. I understand I need 15 approved posts, so I might as well put them here.

Yeah, I get that a lot, about half the time. Glad I can listen to the lady robot.

I forget when I got my first NAA, probably between 1995 and 2000.
It's the basic magnum & LR convertible, with 1 5/8 barrel.
Think I paid about $155, brand new but prices seem to have nearly doubled since then.

It didn't see as much use when I got a very early Keltec P32 to fill that role.
Thinner, lighter, more powerful, easier to shoot, faster to reload.
But somehow the NAA has appeal.
I bought an aftermarket stock with a built in belt clip to wear it behind a belt buckle.
But I'm a pretty strong believer in pocket holsters for safety, so I rarely carried it.

Then I got a kydex neck holster, which does a good job of holding the cylinder still in the safety notch position.
But I can't wear it pointed under my chin, I just can't.
So I tried it in a pocket, but it's a bit oversize.

Tried some PMC Zapper .22 LR ammo once, empties got stuck in the chambers.
Had to pound on the cylinder pin to pop them out, the pin survived.
No more of that ammo for my NAAs.

If I carry a mini for self defense, I doubt the holster grip would make sense since it would slow down my first shot as I prepared it.
So I ever tried one.

That belt clip behind my belt, worn AIWB, was the fastest draw by far.
But I was afraid it might get lost, or jump the safety notches and surprise me.
So it felt more secure in my pocket.

The belt buckle holster doesn't look very fast to me.
And I don't do open carry.
And I don't do big gaudy heavy rodeo style belt buckles, for fear that my pants would fall down.
So I'll be looking for pocket holsters instead.

Fast forward about 20 years, and I somehow got the urge to buy a Pug.
No real good reason, it's only 5/8 shorter in the barrel, and probably heavier.
But a one inch barrel with big dot sight seemed like something I had to have.
So, I got it.

I haven't had a chance to shoot my Pug yet, but I know I will want a .22 conversion cylinder for it.
I really need to shoot it for reliability testing before I send it to NAA for the conversion,
because it would be silly to find a problem later and have to send it back  again. All at once is better.

So I need to break it in with magnums to test it, then get the conversion for most of my practice.
And I want a unique looking conversion cylinder, these things all look alike otherwise/

I certainly don't need a 3rd or 4th mini, considering that I haven't even shot my 2nd one yet!
But the 4" minimaster is tempting, as is the 6" earl hogleg.

I love breaktops, but I'm not likely to get one unless they are reintroduced and mass produced, which is unlikely.
All my breaktops are antique shooters, in .38 s&w. Iver Johnson, and Harrington & Richardson

Are there any competitions for NAA minis?
I know SASS won't allow them in pocket pistol or derringer side matches.
Pocket pistols have to be at lease .31 caliber, and derringers can't be revolvers.

I was just wondering if any other competitions ever had a class for them?

Greetings and salutations ChuteTheMall , welcome . I hope you don't have touchy feelings or easily offended ears about anything around here because the vocabulary gets a little hard for the tender hearts so please accept my apologizes ahead of time for I'm sometimes a BIG OFFENDER .
Pictures are sure a great warm up introduction for everyone , any pictures of anything will do by the way .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Originally ChuteTheMallGawdSortaMount until I shortened it around Y2K on numerous forums, and later kept it for my SASS alias.

When it comes to guns or targets, I just like to shoot them all; and I have nothing against shopping centers.

Another movie I haven't seen is Hot Fuzz, and this pic is from IMFDB.
These tiny mini revolvers don't show up on film like Desert Eagles.

From the movie The Pest.

I guess if you wear a fuzzy pink bathrobe you don't look much sillier by fanning a Freedom Arms mini revolver.
