I was looking around in my pictures and saw where I didn't have a picture of my 1860's all together.
SO, I dug them out of the shoebox and took a quick picture of them.
It is really odd not to have a picture of them because the 4" Earl is what got me SO into NAA products.
Here are my 1860's....
I never noticed before - I have one fluted cylinder in one of the 3" Earl's. I'll have to change that.

Uncle Lee I really like the stag grips on the hogleg. Nice.

Doc Nonverbal

I really like your matched pairs.  You have fine taste in revolvers.
Flames from one log leap to another
fire kindles fire;
a wise man learn from the minds of others
a fool prefers his own.

ray

look great how do they shoot compared to the short ones

Mighty fine there uncle-lee, always enjoy looking at your collection.  ;)

Re your fluted cylinder, I would like it if Sandy would standardize with fluted cylinder for LR and round cylinder for Mag.  That way we could tell what to stick in.  I know you can't put a mag into a LR cylinder but every time I have someone out here who has never played with a NAA revolver before it doesn't matter, they always want to shoot the "little gun".  Then they want to keep shooting it.  If I don't watch closely someone will put LRs into a Mag cylinder.  A standard to make it easy to tell the difference would be nice.

I know, when it is your carry gun it is easy to keep them straight.  In my case LR on the farm, Mag to town.  What I don't think Sandy counted on was the fun factor.  When I have a "shooting day" for friends I have learned to bring all my NAAs (4) because they will get shot a lot and I really don't like my friends to have to stand in line.  That is when it would be nice to make it easier to tell what to load.

BTW for those of you who think a .22 has no recoil, there is an eight year old girl in my shooting circle.  She can shoot a .357 Ruger but finds  a LR mini with stock grips has too much kick.  Her favorite pistol is my 3" Earl with Black Widow grips.  With that she is one of the best shots in our group.

Uncle_Lee

The only two that I have shot is the 4" Earls. At 15 yards, holding with both hands, no rest (something like the Weaver stance), they both will shoot in a 2.5" circle.
I can't do that with the Black Widow nor the Pug.

Yes the grips are Sambar Stag. A fellow here on the forum made them and I bought them.
Always buy in pairs. That way they don't get lonely for one of their own kind.

That's an impossible choice.  That's why I have both!

I might not get them both to start with.
BUT, I would get a pair of which ever I got.

Personally I like fluted cylinders and wish the Sheriff had  fluted cylinders

cfsharry

I would think you could request fluted cylinders, send the gun in and have them timed.

When shipping to and from NAA, is an FFL required?

I don't have one, and its a lot of extra expense to buy one then send it in and get new cylinders made.
