Hi all,  first post here, and soon to be first time NAA owner, waiting on deliver of a Black Widow convertible  :)

Does anyone have these grips on there BW?

The description says red and black, but pic is quiet different .  Anyone can point me to pics of it?

I will likely also end up with a folding and boot grip as I experiment, but I don't seem to see anyone  using the very minimal grips on there BW?

Hi and welcome to the asylum.  for my every day pocket carry, I use the "folding holster grip."  We often refer to it as the "floppy wobbler."  When I am running around on my place and want a longer barrel I carry a 3" Earl with Black Widow grips.  The small grips (even the boot grip) are just too small for me to shoot accurately with any speed and reliability.  In my shooting family there is a nine year old girl who regularly shoots my .357 but will not shoot even a LR mini with the small grip.  For ease of shooting it is hard to beat the stock BW grip.  For ease of carrying with ease of shooting the floppy wobbler is a great choice.  For pretty there are endless choices.

Funny thing, but I like the Black Widow grips on my Black Widow....

Welcome to the forum !

My CCW BW convertible:

I like/use the minimum grip because I long ago learned (from a Gun Digest article) about the best way to shoot a Mini:

If I had a Black Widow I would have Black Widow grips on it, but I have an Earl.

No experience with those grips, but I love the BW/MM grips.. So much that I put them on my Pug.

I have used these on my various B.W.'s and I liked them,
but I do prefer the 'Boot" grips and the Oversize grips,
either the factory Rubber or the old style palm swell's..

I put stag look boot grips on my BW. The grooves enhance gripping ability, plus I like the look.

Awesome where did you find the grips?

Thanks, IKOIKO. I couldn't remember where I got the stag look boot grips. That was who made them.

  Aren't those NAA's grips ?
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

My happiest grip combination was discovered unintentionally.  I carefully drilled a hole through a NAA boot grip with the intent of attaching a lanyard--a little something extra to keep the gun from flying out of my hand.  I ended up hating the lanyard, but when I removed it I discovered that the hole was exactly where the pad of my middle finger makes contact.  It gives my finger a little something extra to bite into, and it drastically improved my accuracy.  My wife really likes it too, and our hands are as different as can be.

By the way, if you want to drill a hole all the way through your grips, start with one grip panel laid flat-side-down on the drill press.  After drilling through one panel, assemble the grip (off the gun) and continue drilling through the first panel into the second panel.  This ensures that the hole is perfectly perpendicular to the grip plane and lines up nicely where the panels meet.  Clean up the ends of the hole carefully with a countersink when you're done.

In the Gun Digest Annual 1984, the legendary Dave Reynolds wrote an article titled, Handling Mini-Revolvers. Does anyone have a pdf or pictures of this classic article?

His two handed technique was a "software" (training) solution to the small size of the minimum grip.
When I try this technique the rear of the trigger presses against my index finger behind it.

Love to hear your tips on maximizing effectiveness with the smaller grips.
