hi- I just bought a Guardian 380, stoked.  it was between that and a Seecamp.  I looked at 32 as well but decided to go with the larger round and larger gun, so, yay me.

Has anyone shot any Underwood Extreme Defender or other .380 round through their Guardian?  If not, what rounds do you carry for self defense and range shooting?

In regards to the NAA 10Rd mag..it says just for target practice, doesn't shoot hollow points.. anybody try defense mags?  I was thinking those Underwood Extreme Defender scalloped screwdriver tip bullets might work as a 'ball ammo" in there// other ideas would be appreciated.  Worst case it's a 10 round ball ammo back up.

As far as grips, if anyone has an extra pair of wood grips..they're selling.. The current selection is kind of limited on site.

Does the frame stippling help a lot?  I'd rather not run grip tape long term.  What about trigger work?  I've read comments where folk say they sent their gun in for 'trigger work'.. what exactly does that entail, cost, time, benefit..

don't rush to reply all at once. :-*

gun arrived- .380 in great condition, looks better than pics..  i <3 it.  i don't think I've ever owned a gun that felt this well made.. dare I say pretty>

i shot 50 rounds of crap brassmaxx or whatever that Tula co. is.  I say garbage because it choked up the Micro Desert Eagle but the Guardian flawlessly puked those cheap rounds out like they were spendy.  Not sure if that means they are good or the new gun is just a bullet monster.

I found some grip tape strips on the ebays that works really well, so far.  I put some on the smooth front and backstraps..doesn't look half-bad, seems like it will give more gription.

+++I'm interested in frame stippling and wood grip suggestions.  Are there any good custom options or old school, euro style wrap around wood grips?!  Flat or textured, oil finish..

Hey Monad NAA has a custom shop and other contact sites to get alot better answers for your wants and needs . Most of us around here settle for what it is kinda thing except for what we make for ourselves . Good luck though . ;)

If possible I would try a set if the "wood" grips before you purchase a set. I picked up a very lightly used guardian that had a Pau Ferro set on them. They are WAY too thick. It's just not a natural feel. I had to put the stock ones back on which luckily were in the box . It felt like I was holding the barrel of a baseball bat. I would've been pretty disappointed if I would've purchased a set myself.
