I have the Black Widow in a .22LR configuration. I'm looking at getting the oversized wood grips (GRW-M) from NAA. However, the page states it will fit only Magnum models. I always assumed the frame of both the LR and the Magnum BWs were the same, with only the cylinder being different. Is that accurate?

I believe you are correct.

Canoeal is correct as you are . Magnum frame stands alone with both cylinder types , the L.R. and the short are the same size frame (smaller) and dictated to for grips and length of cylinders with l.r. being able to shoot shorts also but not the lowly short its own cylinder does only shorts . :o
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

The Black Widow and Mini Master frames are all "magnum-sized" frames.  They can be ordered with a LR-only cylinder, a magnum-only cylinder or both cylinders (combo).  But either way, the frame is magnum.

I suppose the reason why the page says "magnum only" is that NAA is trying to prevent you ordering those grips for some other NAA model that does NOT have the magnum-sized frame.

Those oversized grips will indeed fit your gun!  :)
