Mother of Pearl grips

Hey guys anybody ever buy these Mother of Pearl boot grips from NAA . I found a new pair on E-Bay but find them to be made rather rough in finish . The whole outer edge shows like sanding or saw cutting marks and never sanded smooth to match the rest of them  . Both faces look real good and smooth  . I realize they are plastic so they should be made much better . So anyone who might know anything please give me a heads up before I contact this guy I bought them from and send back .
