Someone that's had new cylinders fitted

I've been bothering the poor lady that deals with that, and I just have one more question.

Do they take the grips off when they time/fit cylinders?

I'm getting a .22lr convertible cylinder timed (for free) and I'm getting a new magnum bull cylinder timed and fitted.  As some of you have seen, I recently got V-grips, and an atrocious rubber overwrap over that.

I need to know if I should send it in like it is, or send it with the Hogue grips back on it.
And Hades followed with him...

My guess is they will remove/examine the internals for wear and fit. Anything they don't like goes in the recycle bucket and new parts go in. It would not surprise me if they just replace all internal parts. But bear in mind, that is just a guess. Everyone I have sent in for repair always comes back shinning like a brand new gun, which means they tumble it n the polishing media. A nice touch Sandy does at no charge to us!

I might also add, if the poor lady you have been "bothering" is Jessica, I had the pleasure and honor to meet her in person, as well as Sandy and several others, at the NRA show in Atlanta this past weekend. She will tell you she is just doing her job and it is not a bother for her. And, yes, she is as lovely and bubbly in person as she is on the phone! I don't know if Sandy hired her, or she was there when he bought the company, but she has got to be one of the best customer service mangers in the business!

TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Dang, I just wasted my time with that overwrap.  Oh well.

She has gone out of her way several times to help me or one of my customers, all the while maintaining she is just doing her job. Perhaps, but, it is only right to let someone know how much they are appreciated. If I had, it would not be the first time. Sincere appreciation is much different than flattery.
