So I realized that my Naa magnum frame fitted with a 22lr cylinder leaves a lot of free space from the 22lr rounds and the barrel inside the cylinder due to the cylinder needing to be made longer to fit the Magnum Frame. doors This technically extend the "barrel length" making this more of an ideal option for the mini revolvers???

First Time post so please excuse any of my ignorance :)

I can't really address the technical aspects of your question, but in practical terms, the 22 magnum is much easier to shoot because the grips are much larger. In my experience, 22 lr out of the magnum frame is just as accurate as the 22 mag rounds, but others have reported otherwise. The longer cylinder should count as additional barrel length, but I would recommend that you look over the ballistics information on the NAA website (and on this forum) and then draw your own conclusions. There is a difference between the 22mag and 22 or rounds, but not as much as you might expect. Given the wide range of ammo that a be fired out of the 22lr cylinder, if I had to make a choice, I would choose the lr, but it's best to get both cylinders. That way, you can shoot whatever you want!

BTW, welcome to the forum. The minis are all fun, so one (or two) is never enough!

Yes.  That is the answer to your question.  I have a 1.6 lr and a 1.6 mag.  If you put the lr cylinder in the 1.6 mag it gets an extra half inch or so of "barrel" which is not rifled, or cylinder or whatever to expand powder and then it hits the actual barrel and the rifling straightens it out.
