Always will swell on a fired rim and jam my new 22 mag 1-5/8's gun I just purchsed. I checked the seat of the ammo in the cyliners and they are all below the rims by a few thousands so I think it is the nickel cases that are swelling up?

40 grain solids soft points. Anyone have this problem with this ammo?

Welcome to the forum...warf
Have you tried any other ammo in it yet...just a thought.
There is a lot of knowledgeable people on this forum that can help you more than myself, let's see if  a few will chime in here.
I think your question kind of got lost in the shuffle of a new post.

I have had the same problem. Not every time, but maybe one round out of ten Aguillas is a real bear to get the hull out. So bad I worry about bending the cylinder pin trying to push it out. And once or twice I had one jam the cylinder. Had to remove the pin and wiggle the cylinder until it loosened up. I blamed it on the nickle cases sticking to the chamber. Never had that problem with other brand nickle cases though.

Some of us aren't very fond of Aguilla ammo . Kind of junk ammo made on foreign shores .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

I have only used the Aguilla in .22 short. It worked fine, but it was not the nickel case, just plain brass.

I actually don't mind the Aquila subsonic, I've jeust never shot it out of a mini.  It shoots pretty well out of a Ruger 22/45.
And Hades followed with him...
