At that time, entries will close. Also, you must be registered before this post was made. If there are multiple "entries", I will assign a number to each person, and will draw the winning number from a hat. I will post the winner here, and they will then send me their name and shipping address via PM. I will get the box in the mail by Wednesday, and, yes I will cover the shipping. If this goes well, and another spare shows up, we will do this again.

  Got a question for you Grayelky , I know your a dealer , if I were to consider buying a weapon from an out of state store does my concealed license work the same way as my state of Florida as to walking out the door after buying . I know some states do not recognize concealed licenses for nothing at all . Thanks .

QV not sure I understand what your asking are you in another state trying to buy a gun?
As far as I know you have to be a resident of the state your trying to buy in.
So the answer is no.
If your having it shipped to your FFL then yes you just go show your CCW and picdk up your gun. Still have to fill out the dang form but no background check.

  That's correct BigBird , so if I want to buy from an out of state store in person I can't , not being a resident of that state . Just wondering , thanks . That kind of kills sales at out of state gun shows also I presume .

you can buy a gun out of state but it has to be shipped to your ffl. you cannot transport it yourself from out of state. this only applies to handguns, not rifles or shotguns, which you can buy out of state and take home with you.

Thanks gentlemen , pretty goofy that they recognize a concealed weapons license but not the right to buy and carry away EVEN CONCEALED , DUH !!! Guess there much stranger stuff out there . Always on vacation I wanted to check out other dealer stores out there but theres not a real point in it except window looking .

You know without sales taxes and shipping fees guns in particular would be relatively priced well except for these smaller types which are a little overboard . We really do pay for those lifetime warranties from the beginnings .
  Come on BigBird a decent gift from one of the kids , UNHEARD OF . I believe your talking proverbial gifting right .

Take a copy of your dealer's FFL with you on vacation.
If you find a handgun you like. Pay for it and have that dealer ship it to your dealer and pick it up when you get home.

The correct answers to the buy question have been posted. At least as I recall nderstand them. You can "buy" a gun when out of state, you just can't take a handgun with you. If the rifle or shotgun is legal in your home state, then it is legal to purchase, and take it with you, providing the state the purchase is made in has no law forbidding it. You can pay for a handgun and have it shipped to your local FFL holder. I encourage my customers to keep my contact info in their phone. If they are out of state and find a gun they want, they have all the information with them the seller needs. I have sold more than one gun to out of state visitors. I don't charge extra to ship it to their FFL, and most of the time, the gun is there waiting on them when they get back home.

It is my pleasure to offer the box. I sold the gun, and the guy had no interest in keeping it.

Just as a thought, and I suspect most on here know this, but, if the seller detects the person buying the gun is actually buying it for a third party who otherwise would not be eligible to buy it, the seller is obligated to NOT sell the firearm, as that would constitute a straw purchase. This does not prevent someone from buying a firearm as a gift for someone else, as long as that person could legally purchase it, or that person is an underage person who will be supervised while using the firearm. Once the underage person becomes old enough to possess the firearm, then it may be gifted to that person at that time.
