What happened to the 25NAA and 32NAA caliber Guardians? ... and esp. the ammo??

I actually just saw both the Seecamp and Guardian in a shop.  Got me researching them and discovered that there were two Guardians with different weights (one around 13 oz, the other around 18 oz?).

I really like the concepts of both of them, but I'm a lightweight kinda guy... so I'd take the 25NAA if I could find it (regardless of it being nearly impossible to find).  But I'm starting to think they don't even produce this 25NAA anymore? ... much less the ammo.  Is it still possible to order 25NAA directly from NAA?

I can just stick with 32ACP, but the 25NAA appears to be a better round all around.  Not by much, but it's better *and* has less recoil.  And again.. not like 32ACP has much recoil to begin with... but I do like to Think Different.  :)

Ammo is horrible to find for these. I've had both of them, but I sold the .32NAA when I got a .32NAA barrel for my Diamondback DB380 (definitely a mistake on my part, although I love the DB380 with the .32NAA barrel). I still own the .25NAA.

Shooting them is awesome. They have reduced recoil and faster rounds. Shooting the .25NAA is like shooting a .22Short. Very easy. I have about 400 rounds for the .25NAA, but don't expect to be able to get anymore. I also have quite a bit of .32NAA for my DB380.

I hardly shoot them because I don't know if I can ever get ammo for them, and if I do, it's expensive. I don't currently know of a place that sells .25NAA, but here you can find .32NAA for sale:

I could be wrong, but I don't think NAA produces these any more. That might not be true, though. Demand just might be really low. It's really too bad, because they are pretty cool rounds.

To be honest, though, there are lightweight-bullet .380 rounds now that have comparable ballistics to the .32NAA, but a larger caliber bullet. (See Liberty Ammunition and Lehigh Defense). But there's really nothing that compares to the .25NAA, although the .32ACP Lehigh Cavitators might come close.

Here's a brief shooting test of my .25NAA on YouTube:

BudsGunShop.com had the .25NAA pistol in stock two months ago, when I asked about it on this forum. I was tempted, but I knew that ammo availability was a problem. I haven't seen a .32NAA for sale in a long time.

North American Arms does still make both the 25NAA and the 32NAA.  They are listed for sale on their main website.  They also say that if you can't find 25NAA ammo, you can order it directly from them.  You might want to contact them about it. The 25NAA is listed for $409.
