I love their willingness to make special serial numbers! NICE!!

That pistol deserves a special holster Bert!!

Lets get together this week and come up with one!!

Very nice indeed!

I am saving for the Ranger II, but the fever is on for a Sheriff.
For now I choose the Ranger II. If that Ranger is not here by November, it might be Sheriff time.

On a fixed income, only one at a time.

Bigbird48

Yep I live on SS myself so new guns come with a sacrifice. I saved and waited a long time for the Ranger and finally said the heck with it and got the Sheriff I've wanted for a long time. Now of course word comes down on the Ranger. I've made the decision that if the Ranger was over 400 I'd pass on it.Unless of course I get a windfall LOL

Mr. Bigbird is this the special order you mentioned in a post back in September 2, 2016? You said Jessica told you that you could get a fluted cylinder with the custom serial number and it showed a price (approximately). I was just curious if this was the same gun so I could get an ideal of what one would cost me. I have been wanting an Earl or a Sheriff,,,,, then again a Black Widow and a Ranger would be nice. I just do not have the money for them all. I would like an accurate gun to plink with and I think it would take probably a 4 inch barrel for easier accuracy. I can shoot my sidewinder fairly accurate but I do much better with very slow aiming and trigger pull. I am thinking with a 4 inch barrel I can do rapid shooting more accurate.

Good looking gun! Thanks.

Bigbird48

Yes this is that gun. I never ordered it till 7 weeks ago. Prices are all on NAA website. ;D

Thanks Mr. Bigbird. Yea I have seen the prices for the standard models on NAA website. I was talking about a custom job like yours with personalized serial numbers. I know you had a rough estimate in an other post back last year. It doesn't matter much as if I buy a Sheriff I will probably just get it stock. Again thanks.

Bigbird48

75 for the custom serial number thats the only  extra charge

Lemon

I may just rethink my next purchase. I keep my guns and don't buy and sale so a custom serial would be worth that to me. I do not have a big inventory of guns like most on here. Just the essentials.   8)

Yep, some of us here work for a living and only have a couple, few, of Guns...

I think most of us worked for a living, and saved our pennys and built our gun collection over a long period of time. I'm now retired so it takes a lot longer to decide if I really need a new gun and longer to save for it.

Gog

For sure. I remember having to sell a couple here and there to have Christmas for the kids but thankfully those days are gone. You gotta do what you gotta do. My collection is growing nicely and my son shouldn't have to worry about a collection! I guess I'm building it for him... Hmmm, that doesn't seem fair. At least I get to use them as much as I can for a few more years!

The wife tells me if I stop buying I could retire a long time ago . Working has two purposes one is to keep amassing stuff and two keeps one blood from stagnating and growing too old too quickly .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Wife asked me why I needed more guns.... I said I don't but it's "cute", and I have enough shoes.

Congratulations! I'm pulling the trigger on one this week. Awesome looking piece. I found a holster for The Sheriff, but nothing like the quality of Rick's holsters!
