"Hot off the cow!!"  ::)  Not Really!

But, I did just get my new Guardian "Dummy Gun"  in today.

So... I promptly stopped doing what I was supposed to do today and made a pattern to cut leather from and while I was at it whipped up this little gem   :o

It is still wet from forming but I wanted to get some pictures up. The edges will be finished darker. The holster body will dry lighter than what the wet leather is right now.

This is a "one-off" color from a Russet Color hide I had left from building a saddle (this was the last piece) so any others will be my standard
Natural Oil-Tan Finish, Chestnut or Black (the hurricane blue & zombie green thread look great with the black leather!)

Comments, critiques, questions are welcome.  I am always interested in what makes one holster more comfortable over another for people to carry their guns.  Carrying your weapon should not be painful or uncomfortable!

I usually just drool over the guns.
This time it is a holster.
If I carried a Guardian, that baby would be mine.
Beautiful job there Rick.

Thank you Dale. It was some of your posts that made me look for a "Dummy Gun" for the Guardian.

I know a lot carry it in their pocket (that will be the next style for this) but there is always the "belt carry crowd" that still prefer a holster.

Looking online it appears there is room for a nice holster for this gun.

Rick, is that a Guardian .380 or Guardian .32 holster?

Nice looking stitching on the holster.  Black thread may look good too.

The etching on the dummy gun is obscured.  I did look to see what caliber it was made from. No luck.

Looking up the specs here on the website the .380 is much larger (at least in holster building land  :o ) than the .32 & .25 calibers.

Without having the dummy here in front of me at home I am going to guess it is the smaller .32 / .25 caliber model.

I'll need to be on the lookout for the larger one if it is more popular.

Verified the Dummy Gun today. It is the Guardian .32 / .25 cal.

So, I can build holsters for that model.  I am searching for the .380 Dummy Gun if there is one.

Or...I may have to buy the gun! lol!!  It wouldn't be the first time!!!  ::)

The 380 NAA is a nice piece. My Sister-in-Law carries one in her purse.

With a few upgrades it is quite the charmer:

PS: Rick; take note it needs a better pocket holster.

I think a .380 is in my future  :)

Looks like you have a after-market grip and mag extension?

Anything internally needed? Because I am no gun smith. I would send it out, Robar is next door to my shop.

Yes, it was sent to NAA custom shop for the forward slide serrations and the Big Dot sights. After that I added my own custom rubber grip panel tape as well as a Pachmyer wrap around grip (the jury is still out on that one) and Pearce mag extension base plates. These and a couple other things take an already effective pocket pistol and turn it into an even better carry piece.

Man that's looking good! By the conversation already, it's obvious Rick is gonna get one so it won't take long to get a pocket holster from him! lol
