Hi everyone, new here but a Mini owner for 20 plus years. Just bought a .22 Magnum 1 1/8" with the conversion cylinder, a twin to my old faithful. My question- the rosewood grips on the new one are a bunch thicker than on my old gun. Are the grip choices available from NAA all of this same profile, or are some thinner? It holds and shoots nice, but I prefer the thinner profile of the old ones. Thanks!

i have used a belt sander to thin them and then of course hand work to finish them. try working them yourself. lay some sandpaper on a flat surface and give it a try.

I would be afraid of ruining a pair of expensive wood grips... Maybe practice on a cheap pair of wood grips if you have an old set laying around.

Well, no old grips laying around to try. I'll pull these off and try by hand. Would love to post pics, but I'm not paying Photobucket for the honor... Which service is recommended a d plays nice with the forum?
