They said there ill be a 4" but not for the EB.  The short barrel is all they will offer in 22 mag for the EB.  Exactly what I want but I may not get one either, post count being too low if they allow people to have more than one.  I can wait for regular production.  8)

I have the standard MINIs, I have the Sidewinder, now I would like to be on the EB list for the Ranger II,   Please Sandy, add me to the EB list to get one!

I joined this in 2012.  I just don't post as much.  I have owned 22lr buntline, 22lr bw, sheriff combo,( 2) 1.6 inch magnums, and a 1.6 inch 22lr.  So  only six NAA, nothing compared to some.

I'm not even sure i want a ranger 2, sure would like to see one very closely before i buy one.

Also specs, etc.

I have been following this for years, I have 11 freedom arms revolvers, I want to be on the early sign up list, like you I have been watching all the developments on Sandys soap box and sure hope all them comments are given credit. this new revolver will be a excellent addition to the North American Arms Line up

Not sure why, but Dad always said "Shoot Straight" before every hunt

So those that qualify for the early purchase will they be notified by email? I'm a bit unclear on that part.

Monster-2

Would love to get a new ranger to go with my original one. The side winder works great as do all my others but you just gotta love that little top break baby. 8)

Perhaps I am reading it wrong, or maybe I am just interpreting it differently, but I read it to mean the ones with higher post counts will be closer to the front of the line, and those newcomers who sign up just for the EB will be at the back of the line. I suspect anyone who has been around any length of time will get an EB Ranger.

For anyone around the great metropolitan Acworth (GA) area, I will handle the transfer for you at no cost.

Thanks for that Gray.  I believe that I am already on your list, right?  I hope it doesn't SNAFU things that I have changed my "official" residence to TN.  I do still maintain a residence in Atlanta.

We'll, with only 2-300 EB's available i'm probably looking at late 2018 before i get one!   >:(

2018 isn't far away and they'll just be coming out by then. I'm sure I'll be pretty far out too but whatever, time flies by so fast it won't be long anyway.

I've not been on the forum for a while, too busy riding and restoring motorcycles, but I checked again today with regards to the Ranger II which I've been waiting to purchase when an EB was available. I guess I might be somewhere in the hunt based on my previous activity. I even put off buying a sidewinder in anticipation of the new Ranger. Perhaps the wait is coming to an end :)

I sold my original Ranger when the prices went mad because I it became too valuable to use, although I'm probably one of only a few who actually fired and carried one for a while. I bought 3 other guns with the proceeds. I hope the new version will stay I production for a long time so I can have one for regular carry and use as opposed to a safe queen.

I'm not sure I understand the procedure for the proposed EB, am I correct in thinking we are waiting for NAA to produce a web page where we add our names to the list?

I am a bit surprised as to the change of format on the manner of determining the list of those that will have an opportunity to get on the list for the EB issue of the Ranger 2. I have been following Sandy's monthly postings with great anticipation as to the Ranger 2, reviewing the Forum's comments, not making any postings.  My wife has even given me the gift of the Ranger 2 as a Christmas gift 2017!!  Now with the manner in which the eligibility will be determined, I don't have much of a chance, if any!  I wonder if anyone knows how the preferred dealers will be, so I can try that avenue?

I can ditto that (except for the part about my wife buying me one  :(  I have been waiting patiently and checking the soapbox EVERY month waiting and waiting and holding on to the roller coaster of hope on the Ranger II. But I never actually posted anything. My only hope on getting one in the early bird time frame is if any of my LGS's get one. I will continue to wait like I have for all this time, and I WILL get a Ranger II  :)  God Bless.

hoodcanalelectric

It isn't too early to get on the list for Christmas????

David Culp

ALSO HOPING for a ranger two asap

geohuson

sure hope the ranger II will have at least the 2" barrel, the real short one is hard with the 22mag load.

Early Bird priority for those posting often. Are we giving early bird preference to men who love to gossip ? I read to post for information  I grew up in a small town, gossiping was rampage, most people would find it interesting who lived there, when I visit home it is like a TV soap show, if a family member visited then there is a comment about who visited whom posted in local newspaper, gossiping even occurred among the men, my brother in law, farmer, had to keep some men in opposite sides of the field running the equipment because once they got talking, it turned into gossiping, and 2 hours later, they were still at it, gossiping. I live in a larger community now as that is where the work is. I barely know and talk to my neighbors.  I read post to get informed. Sometimes there is bickering, ohh well.  I have noticed that most of the comments and post are from men living in smaller communities, gossiping for entertainment.

They say All's well that ends well. So all we can do is wait and see how it unfolds. All the best to all the guys and gals who have been working on this project over the years. As an old top beak aficionado, I have had a few nice ones over the years, but I must say the original Ranger and now this new Ranger II truly intrigues me. Lock and load.

Don73

I guess like other have said if it depends on post counts, I'll probably have to wait to find one in 2018 on Gunbroker, but who knows how much more the price will be on Gunbroker. Would like to be on the EB list, but I'll have to wait and see.

Ole N. Decrepit

;D Jehosephat!  I started a small fire.  550+ posts on the topic of the Ranger II sign-up list.  Thanks guys.  Let us hope we all get an early buy offer.  I note that a number of folks have put off buying one mini to wait for a better mini.  The first Suitcase (portable) PC was the Osborne I.  When Osborne announced the Osborne II, his customers stopped buying the I to wait for the II and the firm went out of business.  Bummer.  Let's all buy the II and see that NAA continues!  Thanks for the warm welcome.
Cordially, Ole

Curious who has had, or does have an origional Ranger?
How do you like it, and how well is functionality vs. The Sidewinder?

I'm young in the forum, I least I'mean young someplace.

I too would love to be on EB list to get two Rangers. My wife wants one too and it will keep her away from mine.

We both love our NAA Minis. All of us do or we would not be here.

I will pay today.

Hoping I have enough posts to qualify for the EB. I have read posts talking about receiving an E-mail, can someone shed some light on that?
