Not that the way I see it means anything. Now I'm thinking that each week ~ 100 R2 will be produced. 50 of those will go towards fulfilling the 250 EB total, and 50 will go to distributors until all 250 EB orders are filled. Then they all go to distributors etc.

If it says the EB allocation will be 250, then that's what it is IMO, it then goes on to say half the production will be diverted towards supplying the 250. As there is no cap on production of this model, I don't believe it makes sense to interpret the comment differently.

I noticed that the pre-order site is still up. I'm sure when it all comes out 250 pieces will be allocated for EB's.

The inside of your mind seems a very confusing place I'm surprised you are even completely sure it's past the end of the month and that you haven't talked yourself out of that

It is interesting and enlightening how what at first glance appears to be plain language, can be interpreted to have opposing meanings....when i first read it i thought it meant 125EB and 125 to distributors, but now im not so sure....haha

off topic but this confusion is exactly why a constitutional convention would be a very bad idea....its taken 240 years to get to this point on jurisprudence of what the words in the constitution mean, can you imagine if we change the wording in say the second amendment, the novel interpretations and long drawn out court cases that would follow.

OK, at the risk of being proven wrong very shortly, I'm willing to solidify my opinion on this very important issues. LOL.

After rereading Sandy's October Soapbox, I'm convinced that the message board EB program is 250 units, which constitutions half of the first production units. The other half, or 250 more, will be sent to distributors and other NAA direct customers. That's a total of 500 units.

Now I'm left wondering if the message board units and the distribution units will be feathered in together, and if so, in what lot sizes?

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. At least until I'm proven wrong, that is. (I had to stay a little bit wishy washy....)

It has never taken much for an enthusiastic crowd to go from cheering to jeering with torches and pitch forks.  Somehow I sense that by tomorrow, if no credible news hits this forum, the crowd will have moved from anticipation of reward, to cynical response.  I hate to think what Friday may bring.

I agreed with that assessment originally, but I now see it as the 250 is half of the production. Not that they are taking half of the 250 EB orders to satisfy message board orders.

No pitchforks here. It's all rainbows and lollypops as far as I can see. I'm just obsessing here, that's all.

I hope you are wrong. I hope that most of us are grown up enough to handle not being the chosen. I can only speak for myself I guess and as I said before if I am suppose to have an eb edition I will. If not I will just have to wait for regular production. I mean the only difference is the serial number. The bullets will still discharge the same either way

The original run of the first Rangers was 500 units. Why not 500 this time? Why reduce it by half? I'm still going with 500. Besides, that does make more happy message board members.

It says producution will be about 100 a week with half going to EB and all EB order should be shipped before christmas.....so 50 x5 weeks which would put it before christmas = 250 EB Rangers  and 250 to primary customers......

I agree. Thanks for pointing out the math. Does that mean that the first board members will be getting their EB's soon? That would be cool. I had assumed that the orders were made and it would still take a number of weeks to get them all out. I didn't think about slowly shipping them out over the weeks until Christmas. I hope that's right. I dunno tho.

(OK, Sandy, stop rolling your eyes at us. Surely you knew that we kids would be counting the days until Christmas like this in anticipation of getting our precious Rangers! Haha.)

The quote is from the mid October update which indicates 250 EB order spots to me.  If production started about October 23, then there would still 10 weeks in the year or potential for 1000 total production.  I hope 250 for EB bec cause that might give me a chance.

Whatever the right answer I consider this a friendly discussion and anyone else is welcome to different opinions.  Hopefully we will see more info soon.  I need to look for November soapbox.
