I was 10 in '76, I didnt really get into guns until a year or two later.

These were not the first models.
First models used a different cylinder stop-on top of the gun.

I had a little Honda back then got the Harley now tho

No worries, I had to sell the two I had back when I moved to Indiana.  I wasn't able to hold one up anymore if the wind caused it to lean to the left.  My left leg is weak due to a work accident.  I walk with a cane to try to keep myself from falling if it suddenly buckles.  I miss my Bikes though and wish I still had them but them's the breaks.

I been feeling my age this weekend, finally clearing some trees from our hurricane a year ago in FL. Guess I'm a young whippersnapper though at 42. I was only a year old when that ad came out. I didn't realize it was already called North American Arms that long ago. The magnum I had 20 years ago was a Freedom Arms model. Wonder how old it was?

I spent 6 months of 1976 in the Philippines. Thanks to the Navy. What a time. Didn't get my first NAA till 2005, I think!
