Here is a picture of my Sidewinder, so it is real now.   ;)

Woo hoo................... you now have one! Looks nice to me.

Bet it feels good , a fine picture of a fine piece .

Warthog

I had it for a bit more than a couple years but failed to put it in my pic of all my NAAs so I needed to show it or it wasn't true.  ;)

Ruger

I bought these Eagle Grips a number of years ago.  I haven't seen them for sale lately.  There is an Eagle's Head Grip available but it doesn't look to offer as much texture as these.  The Eagles really add to the ability to hold the sight picture and reduce the noticeable rise.  I keep the factory grips on my other Sidewinder just for comparison.

Yeah, I saw those grips when they were available but never got a set.  I just found I had a set of boot grips for it so they are on it now, pix later or it didn't happen.  ;)

Those Eagle Grips are sweet! Did a quick search and came up empty. Nice, can't go wrong with the Sidewinder.

Just found this. Not sure how long they have been available. Looks like NAA is making the Convertible 22 LR/22 Mag with Eagle Grips. Not as nice as those pictured above.

I like mine

Nice little EDC set up there Tocsn40!  Lightweight and easy to carry.  Everything you need in a pocket sized package.

Gog

Nice setup as mentioned! I love the pistol of course but the Emerson is a great addition! Looks like a user for sure!

Warthog

OK, will get a better pic when I am able.  This is my Sidewnder with the Boot Grip I found in my box of stuff.  These are for a while ago from NAA direct.  They seem to only have the engraved ones now but I liked these for carry.  Gives a good grip on the Mini w/o sacrificing size for concealment.

Will post a picture of the carry stuff as soon as the holster I ordered from Rick arrives.  8)

Question for you on the Sidewinder. How tricky is it to slip the cylinder in and out? When i was looking at it in the gun store, it had a tie-wrap on it and it was a major pain. The guy behind the counter discouraged me from buying it and said it was a major PITA to open it even with the tie-wrap off. I went with the standard magnum mini. I notice a few people have modified their Sidewinders to make loading easier.

ikoiko

I found opening easy. Closing a bit stiff. I polished the little groove that the rod goes into and it's much better. I always push on the cylinder and rod when closing.

Warthog

Mine is easy to open and shut as long as I push on the arm rather than the cylinder.  Like in the video on the NAA site.  My other Sidewinder is the same way and both shoot well.

Ruger

Other than opening up the crane slot at the bottom to allow for more "swing" of the cylinder to allow the casings to be extracted, I have only lubricated the extractor rod and polished the lead ramp that the rod rides in when closing.  It was never hard when new, but it has certainly become easier with use.

Good to know. Thanks guys. If a Ranger II isn't in the cards, I'll pick up a Sidewinder.
