Did you get a cancellation notice from the first order?

OK, so if we used a credit card, and not a debit card, do we still have to re-order?

No. I got email notice of my order when I made it, but no cancelation. I guess I'm good, then?

but the first time I ordered I got and email confirmation
I did also but didn't give it too much thought this go round. I may touch base with them tomorrow just to make sure all is well. We'll see.

And not being big on buying firearms on line (I support my LGS vigorously) I was a little taken back that I had to submit the FFL License with my order, not just the name and address of the FFL I use.  At least that is what I needed to do to get my order accepted.  Was I wrong?

I have only purchased one (1) firearm on the internet, and submitting the address of the FFL was all that was needed.  Contact from seller was direct to FFL when the license info was needed.

I have purchased a LOT of guns on line.
I always send a copy of my dealer's FFL along with the money order.

I have also purchased guns online and send a copy of my FFL , Can't understand why an FFL would not want someone to have a copy. Seems like it would hurt their business .

Hi, I strongly suggest you e-mail them. I also placed my order a couple days ago and never got a cancellation notice. The money was withdrawn from my account instantly (debit card) and never showed back up in my account. I finally e-mailed them today to ask if my order was good. I then got a cancellation e-mail and a reply stating that some of the early orders got fully processed (the money) by mistake. They also said I needed to place the order a second time.

I noticed that the form is different now and is not like regular checkout (it allows any text in the cc expiration date box rather than forcing a properly formatted date). I figure my chances of getting one are low, but that's ok. I've been checking Sandy's soapbox several times a month for nearly two years. I can wait a little longer. Maybe the regular production guns will start to be available in time so Mrs. Clause can get me one.  ;)

You're hilarious. Just for one split second you had me.  :o Thanks for the belly laugh!

New order form is different. I could not get FFL to load, just sent it in an email to NAA.

I've had times when I travel out of state and see a gun I want, very handy to have a copy of your FFL. I keep it on my phone makes it easy to buy out of state.

Yeah, I have two (2) LGS close to me.  I deal with only one of them, but both tend to want to send in the FFL by themselves.  The one I deal with on a weekly basis sent me there FFL in an E-Mail and asked to "be nice with it".  It pays to work with a local GS, even when they are a little higher priced than the big chain guys.  If we don't use our LGS and help them stay in business, well, you know . . . .

I ordered mine today, my FFL is there and that is all I can do.  I will return home in about a week, still in FL.  Funeral is Saturday.  Hope everyone gets theirs sorted and ready too.

Ha...go to the back of the line  ;)

I had received no e-mails or anything so called and asked about my order.

It had indeed been cancelled but most likely due to my fat fingering my e-mail address I did not receive the notification.

I re-submitted today.

Most likely wouldn't have gotten the fancy schmansy EB serial number anyway but I suppose that I am at the bottom of the list for the regular buyers.

The good news is hopefully that I am on the list ;D

Again, you can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket. :P

Actually, that's pretty standard. It's usually the buyer's responsibility to get the FFL copy to the seller. You can either send it directly, or sometimes you can have your dealer send it. It's generally not the seller's responsibility to try to track it down for you. It's my guess the seller you used last probably already had your dealer's FFL copy on file.

I've done scores of deals and it's always been my job to make sure they have my dealer's FFL copy.

My local dealer seemed reluctant to let me have his ffl but he did call NAA for me to make sure they had it on file. I also followed up with them after I sent in my order to make sure all was well. In the area where they asked for it I just put the shops name and address and NAA said they would marry his info to my order.

Bigbird48

I don't understand dealer not wanting to give you a copy of their FFL, it only to their benefit. I have a copy of mine on my phone so if traveling and I see a gun I like I show them the FFL and they ship it to him

Well I left town for a week for my brothers wedding and it all kicks off. I didn't get an email, so haven't had a chance to order. If I just use the EB form in Sandy's Soapbox how does that tie me in in terms of my forum posts and status?  Or should I wait until Monday and just call them?

i havent gotten the emails either. i did call them for that and also that my ffl would only send his ffl directly to them. they are tying the EB into your email address that you used to register with the NAA Forum board.  So make sure when you order you use the same email address that they have for the forum

Thanks, I just checked to make sure they have the correct email for me in my forum profile, which they do, so I guess I will fill out the form and see what happens.

I sure don't expect to get an EB model, but is this pre-order good towards getting a production model too down the road?

I don't think so.

No pre-order form.  just ordered yesterday.  I did get an EB Swinger. I noticed it on FB so i found the letter on NAA page and put in an order. I guess I will see if i got anything. I do not spend as much times on MB as I do FB now days. Will see if I made it or not. I do not know if they process your card right away or see if you get one on the way? Monday is a holiday
I really donotneed another gun but this *** addiction I have.

RogueTS1

There is a link at the NAA site. Click on it to pre- order. No need to wait for an email.

Hard to say. I'm not gonna sweat it. Him and his wife seem like good people and I'll keep giving them my money when I see something I can't live without.

It would be interesting to see the list the day before Sandy's announcement.

Well, my order is in and my dealer has sent the FLL too.  I called Jessica to make sure everything was OK this time.  I ordered two with one to get a conversion cylinder.  She told me I will for certain get one Ranger II but she will have to see how things go before she can say if I will get the second.  So I suppose I will see, and I am good at waiting so I will and take pix and let you all know when they or it arrives.

One of them is fine with me, if that is all I can have, then fine with me.  I hope we all can get what we have asked for but if I can't and say, some of you do get two...  GOOD FOR YOU!  I will be happy for all of you, as I will be for mine.  GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!  This will be GREAT!

Now that I am back home maybe I can find and order a Hogleg to round out my collection too!  ;D

Just so you get it in before the end of Oct.
The day you get it in will not affect your place in line.

OK, so I used a credit card for my Ranger order and I never got the email that said my order was voided, so I figured my order was good.

Well, today as I was going through my spam box, as I often do to make sure I didn't miss anything, I found my cancelation notice email from October 2. Well I'm glad I finally noticed it. I guess I need to submit another order.

If you didn't get the cancelation email and you think your order is still good, I recommend that you check your spam box.

So are we saying orders made using Credit Card are automatically voided? I'm confused even having tried to read the whole thread.

I'm not saying that, but apparently mine was.

MR_22

Here's the email I got on October 2, later in the day after I ordered, but it went to my spam box. I'm not sure if it's just my credit card (I didn't use debit) or what. I used my Cabela's credit card, if that matters.
