Short Balistics?

OK, all you ballistic guys, I got a question.  I just got a short Mini and on the box of CCI High Velocity Short it list a 27 grain bullet at 1105 fps.  A standard velocity CCI LR box says 40 grain bullet at 1070 fps. Do any of you know what the velocity out of 1" barrels are and how does a high velocity short compare to a standard velocity LR energy wise?  Also is my assumption correct that the High Velocity short will out preform the CCI Quiet-22 with a 40 grain bullet at 710 fps?
