Hi, new guy here, long time NAA user though. What do like to pair with your NAA as far blades, flashlights, etc? A lot of different EDC items out there!

An exceptionally beat up old Gerber LST.  Got battery acid etches and 120vac arc burns in a spot or two.  Carried it EVERY day for about 30 years now.  Wife did find a NOS "spare" to buy for me in case this one ever wears out.

smokeless joe

It's more a multi tool but it still has a knife. Can't remember a day that I haven't needed it for something. Fortunately I can't say the same about my pug. Like having it with me but hoping I never need to use it.

Great little knife!!!

I took 20 years to wear one out when I was working in the machine shop. Used it like I stole it and I never could break it. Just wore it out from sharpening the much abused blade. Bought a new one wen I retired in 2002, and it's been as good a knife as my old one. Love how flat and light they are in the pocket. Kind of like the mini of knives.

+1 on the Gerber LST.  I have my Daddy's, mine and a back up.  At 65 I sure they'll outlast me.

Note to Sandy:
I know you have your hands full these days but, how about a NAA companion knife?  What would be really neat is one that also held a few rounds of spare ammo in a built in tube or under the handles.  :)

Warty that last one has a nice touch to it as do all but that one stands by itself ..

Well, I have more but I need to post them as a part of the message rather than an attachment to get them all seen.

I don't actually carry the Black Talon much, it was a gift.  It really isn't my style.

IDK, I am about done buying knives, though I am likely to grab another few automatics if they are on sale as I do like them.  They are handy too, I walk with a cane so I can easily open them with the one free hand when I need to open things or cut off a stray thread.  The ones that give you a help to open them are also nice but the autos, now legal here in Indiana, tend to be my favorites.

Thanks OV1D, the collection salutes you. :)

I carry a buck 442 which is an older buck plastic knife, made in 1998 according to buck website

I find it is a good compromise of size and weight and buck lockback performance.

Here is a link to someone's pic as im too lazy to host a pic of mine

Welcome to the forum WEGANK!

Thank you kindly!

Great responses gang, thanks for the feedback! I'm an avid knife guy, as well as proponent of always LEGALLY carrying, it's good to see what others are bringing to the table! Here's my setup from yesterday... The only change to this daily carry is which knives or flashlight I choose... The more American made, the better!

I tend to like old timey European friction folders. They have nice thin blades that take a scary sharp razor edge and cut well.

Tot to bottom; Rams horn resolza from Sardinia made by Salvatore Usai, Turkish folder I bought of a guy in Istanbul who had a street stand. And a French Opinel number 8. I love Opinels for their cutting ability. Each knife is resting on a pipe from that country as well.

I carry this custom made knife purchased back in the 80s at the Blade Show. Damascus blade, Tagua Nut grip, with a pressure fit leather sheath which can be worn on neck or as a keychain.

I like that one Unkei.

Here are a few more of my collection of knives (and swords and spears and pole arms and maces)

Most of my OTF Microtech autos

The one on the top of them all is a very large OTF though it is Single action.  The name escapes me but it has something to do with the Halo game....

I loved the Gerber LST some posted. I had two in the mid-90's. That was about the time that they started putting pocket clips and thumb studs/holes on nearly all knives. I loved that knife because I could open it one-handed by grasping the blade between middle finger and thumb. The sad part was that was around the time they quit making wood-handled knives too. For the last few years my everyday carry has been a SOG Twitch II with Rosewood handle. It's assisted and takes a really keen edge that it holds fairly well. I'm really worried right now because I just had a trip to Arizona and I threw it in my suitcase or computer case to get it through the airport in my checked baggage. Now I can't find it. I'm going to unpack the rest of the way and hope it's hiding somewhere. Here's a link to it. The wood on mine is a lot prettier than the image on SOG's site.
