Ranger II Email

Just got another email about the Ranger II. I am confused more than ever. First order was cancelled and received the refund. Ordered again and no order number this time.

This email sounds like maybe I should have gotten one. Also sounds like there are still some left based on the order numbers. I sent an email to Jessica so really hope I hear something back.

I just ordered again and I got no email. No order number, either. Maybe I should run down to the factory and ask about it--I work about 2 miles from the factory. Maybe I'll do that for lunch tomorrow.

EDIT: OK, I just GoogleMapped it and it's 2.9 miles to the NAA factory from where I'm sitting right now at work.

I questioned the lack of an order confirmation also. I emailed Jessica and her response was: Unfortunately, the lack of email confirmation is one of the downfalls to that ordering page...
You'll have to call or email them to make sure your order went through.

I just spoke to Jessica to ensure my order was received and to add the conversion cylinder, all was fine. I have however never received any emails or such as of today, so I wouldn't assume that not hearing anything is of significance. My impression is they are pretty busy, so any written communication may take a while.

With MR_22 2 miles away and me 16, obviously we will get priority treatment

Jessica told me that there is no email confirmation on the reorder. When you placed the reorder it should have said the order was noted and you should be okay.

Yeah that's what she told me when I called about my reorder. It's all out of our hands at this point. Now it's just the waiting game.

Yes, I found out the same thing. Jessica was quick. To respond. I hope she gets a good Christmas bonus with all the calls and emails she has gotten.

Has anyone started an official thread to take a count of how many people actually ordered? I'm curious how many people really ordered. On Facebook they are really hammering the cost. Personally I don't have a problem with it. I ordered 2!

When I reordered the site posted my order was noted. According to above reply that is all the notice I will receive until selection time, hopefully.

I also thought a thread where folks post how many that have pre-ordered would be nice to see

Wow Joe. I sure missed something. I had not seen that Oct. 27 was the blast-off date for the big announcement. I am one that does not get a newsletter (no matter how many times I apply) and don't "do" Facebook. I have had it in my mind that the win/loose date was Wednesday, Nov. 1st. But I'll take Friday Oct. 27; makes for one less anxious weekend of waiting! Thanks!!

That reminds me of the guy that bought his wife a gun for her gift, a gun he wanted. Later she said she was going shopping, he asked where she got the money. She said she was to to sell her gun. His concern was partly that she might sell it for what he said he paid for it.

TEAM NAA Maybe we should get shirts or hats or something . . . . . at least I'd wear it in public. I am always hesitant to wear my MOLON LOBE shirt to the mall. I kind of feel like it says to the bad guy with a gun SHOOT ME FIRST

That sounds good. My father-in law used to shoot in what they called " postal matches" contestants shot the same target from the same distance and mailed them to a member that was the judge who scored the targets and declared a winner. This happened once a month. All the monthly points were tallied for a year end winner. It was all done on the honor system and just for fun.
I also have have thought a field trip to the NAA factory for a tour and possible group outing of a range day would be cool for members of this forum.
