Okay...so today I shot my pug on the range at 10 feet and 15 feet with 4 different types of ammo. I used Winchester super x 40gr. FMJ, both CCI & Hornady VMax 30gr., CCI 40gr. JHP.   The results were about the same regardless of the ammo. The only difference was a bit more keyholing with the FMJ and JHP but in terms of accuracy they were very very close. I was shooting freehand at an 8" target and all rounds stayed within those 8".

Personally, I don't think you could ask for any better with such a small revolver.  I've put 100 rounds through this pistol and am satisfied to carry as a bug/primary pistol.

I know I love my pug. Was surprised at how accurate it actually was for such a small pistol. No complaints at all. Have been carrying mine on a daily basis since I bought it. I've got the same grips what a difference they make with the handling.

Gog

I'll sure take all within an 8" circle from 15ft from that little barrel! Nice.

Joe..I prefer the oversized. I can get a much better grip.

I've got those too but prefer the CVang for carrying. Lower profile.

Personally, I like Black Widows but PUGs are certainly nice too.  CVang grips are the ones I like but the oversized wood grips work well too.

I should have my new CVang grips tomorrow. I'll pribably put them on my bw for now but if I get a Ranger they may end up on it.
