After it is time for bed, I keep a 22 short between my butt cheeks where no one can find it.

Not really but I did think it might be funny.  ;D

I'm gonna build you a "Butt Cheek Rig" for that "Shorty"!!

Oh, and don't ever hand me your Shorty! lol!!!

Joe - The guy in the sarong doesn't bother me so much, but why do they always have to be guys with no love handles - that just ain't natural; at least with the old guy crowd I hang with . .

Love handles are what keeps the rain off of what you pack at 4 o'clock.

You know I didn't even know what a sarong was until it was brought up here. The pic I posted was the first one that came up on the google search.

Sarongs are comfortable and they can also be used as a weapon.  When I wear mine (not really), I keep my 22 short between my butt cheeks and that way I can get to it quickly and shoot while i snap my sarong at the guy and entangle him.  ???

In my right hip pocket like always. The other mini is in the bathroom drawer next to the shower. my third mini, the old Freedom Arms mini is stashed in the laundry room hanging by a string behind the drier vent.

Very clever!  I like the idea of placing firearms in easy-to-access areas that a criminal wouldn't be likely to notice or expect you to draw from.

I used to keep a Cold Steel plastic tanto in the magazine basket next to the throne, but my wife keeps taking it out and putting it on the counter for me to put away.  I think she figures that I'm getting old and misplacing things, but there is still a method to my madness.

Yeah I have guns strategically placed throughout my home. You never know what room you may be in when some knucklehead tries to get in.

Warthog

I carry one everywhere I go, even in my house.  I have some stashed around the place too but the one I keep with me seems to be best.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D memory clicked

In the mid 70's I bought an old & run down, 7 room farm house. Perfect for parties. I never did completely unpack so 2 of the rooms were full of boxes of stuff.
I like you kept a firearm of some type within 2 steps from where ever I was.
It took 9 cops 4 hours to find, unload, and stack them all in the middle of the living room.
My house was down in a really deep hollow where radios didn't work very good so one state cop took his car to the top of the hill for a radio relay.
It took another 4 hours to run all my guns on the hot sheet. All clean...

Then I had to repack all the boxes of books, records, & dishes.
Load all the guns. It was a late night that night.

It would seem the "all clean" part is all we need to know.  Glad that worked out OK.

It was funny so I passed it on. I guess you would have had to have been there.

What would it have been if I had posted "all clean"?

I'm guessing it's probably funny now looking back. Maybe not as fun as it was happening. I've got some of those memories.

Unc's experience reminds me of the time driving past St. Louis on the Rt. 70 bypass also in the 70's, on the way to UMR.   I was pulled over on a random drug search; you know, young, long hair, crappy car, happy thoughts, future ahead, etc.  The officer was polite and all, but they completely unloaded my car that had all of my stuff for the next year packed in tight.  Yup, after stripping the car out, including the spare tire and such, they let me go with a crappy comment and all of my belongings on the side of the highway. My stuff just didn't go back the way I packed it at home.  The whizzing cars and trucks put a sense of urgency in me for some reason . . .

Oh yes, open the lights, remove the tank, take off all covers & remove the seat.
Been there, done that.....

You just banged another memory.

I think I'll just smile and keep it to my self.

I typed it all out and decided not to share it.

Cool. I've been thinking of getting a set of those grips but have heard mixed reviews (mostly from the magnum users having them break after firing, recoil breaking the plastic) After you've fired a few rounds with them let me know what you think. Hope they work out well for you.

Ok I'm off today so I'm wearing the wasp and my pug is in the right front pocket
