Hey all!!

Last week, myself, Ken and Sandy had the pleasure of visiting San Antonio for our annual NASGW show. For this show, we were able to take a couple pre-production models, and just like our customers, the distributors are excited for this product as well!!

I had the pleasure of doing a small video clip about the Ranger II, and while I don't personally care for being in front of the camera, this video turned out okay. :)

I know most of you are anxious to see & get one of these beauties, so please... Enjoy!

Thank you, Jessica.

I have wanted to see this view:

MtGoat

So in this view is the top strap hinged?
You lift the top strap to release the cylinder?

I think that was what others were thinking for removing the cylinder.
If that is correct it appears that cylinder changes would be a snap.

Pat

Uncle_Lee

It looks like the rear part of the top strap will lift up, releasing the cylinder.
Yep, changing will be a snap.

Based on this sequence of grabs from the video it appears that the frame latch is the part that moves to open the Ranger.

Right and the rear portion of that has a - little sticky down - piece that holds the cylinder in place. Lift up the end of the top strap while it is open and the cylinder will slide out of the frame.

If this is truly how it works it would make fast reloads an even easier procedure if one were to carry an extra loaded cylinder around. (Pale Rider fashion)  ;)

MtGoat

That top strap sure appears to be hinged ala the Ranger release.
NOW EVERYBODY will want a 22LR cylinder  ;D ;D ;D

You could reload a new cylinder faster than a speed loader  ;D
Empty the mag cylinder and speed load the LR cylinder.
Hey maybe 2 of each  :o

...for those of us that miss things faster than we hit things.

Warty with 5k rounds of Gold Dot plans to miss really fast...like fanning his mini  ;D ;D ;D

Though the Ranger 1 is probably more elegant, I think as a practical pistol the Ranger 2 may be superior, especially when it comes to changing cylinders.
