I got my confirmation email at 3:33 EST!!! This is going to be awesome! I don't want to sound like a giddy child, but three has always been my favorite/lucky number (yes I know how dumb that sounds), so it's really odd, crazy and cool that it happened like that.

My comment concerning whether Buc already knew what the problem might be was a tip of the hat to Jessica since Bux had not commented while everyone was circling the wagons. I thought maybe Jessica was already in contact with Buc and he just had not made comment.

So are emails still going out? I have received neither and I confirmed they received my second order when my first order was cancelled. I have checked my spam filters, etc.

Congratulations to all, those of us who got one and those who have had one for a while now (the original Ranger).

I cannot know what was used to choose, it baffles me really.  It will be a great product that will sell well for NAA.  Those who hope for the longer barrel model, it will be there but will take time.  In any case, time passes and we will all have new items and stuff to show people.

I'm guessing these cases are ones that they weren't able to match up the order to the board member who made the purchase. I can imagine that alone took the couple of days after Halloween until the announcement came. If they did a 98% job on that, that would be pretty good. Hopefully they'll resolve it--possibly by pulling a few from those allocated to distributors.

Good point. Just seems very few didnt get one?  Looking forward to seeing the new arrivals!  By the way if you didn't get one order one now in the retail market, it's really new and I bet not that many people know it's out there yet?

Well, I thought I had two ordered.  The first application, that had the PayPal slot, went through, but like everyone else, I was told to reapply, so I did.  I had trouble getting the pdf. for the FFL attached to the second form, but thought it went through, but apparently it didn't, because I never got an email for either chosen or rejected.

LHB, I had same problem attaching FFL second time I ordered. I sent e-mail to Jessica to confirm order and had FFL attached. She confirmed order and receipt of FFL.

I too was concerned as my forum had been made up so long ago it had a old email that I no longer use. So as I fryed to change it I thought I may miss the boat by not getting to my email. Well it ended good as I was sent the golden ticket

Well, you know what they say about assuming any thing.  I assumed that the order had gone through, and did not bother to follow up.

Wonder how long it will be before any of the distributers list the Ranger, nothing on Davidson's or Lipsey's yet.

As I'm happy for most who got chosen I'm not sure how some were selected. If I remember right they said those members of the forum and you had to be a forum member, with the most posts would be first in line for an EB. But I see here people that were not members of the forum getting one and people with 1 or 2 post getting one and people with over 800 or more posts not getting one. So I'm really confused if I read the soapbox wrong or if NAA just changed how they were going to choose who gets one.

I'm one you are referring to. I don't know how I got selected over others, but it could be where they didn't send in a a FFL, credit card, or something.

I guess it's time I come out. I am a chosen one. I hesitated to post due the the controversy of how chosen ones are picked and the pain felt by those that are not. I know I would have felt terrible if I had not been picked as well. I can say that while I want two to carry, I could live with Sandy deciding to give some of us only one so that others can get one.
