Haha, I know what you mean, Redhawk. When I was working on R&D at a slot machine company in Las Vegas, we were creating a new poker game that thad 3 phases after the deal. 3 different chances to win! We decided to call it "3-Way Action Poker" and surfed Google to see if the name was taken already. Um, yeah, that was a bad idea...!

redhawk4

Yes I can see a lot of inherent dangers with that one, there are many phrases I've seen that could have a double meaning associated with that.

I have a new gun on order, I think I will call either Ranger or maybe Ranger 2.

I think I will name my new Ranger IIs Vic and Strider.  That would be a good pair of names.  Maybe, if I could remember the ranger from Flipper I would try that instead of Vic.

Thanks!  So now I will name my Ranger II Rick and if I get two, Vic. ;)

What about Texas Ranger? Isn't that what they're named after?

My originals I call "The Utah Rangers" . Seems to be a good fit . :)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

The term Ranger dates back long before Texas, as in Roger's Rangers of the Seven Year's War, AKA French and Indian War.

Haven't named a Gun yet, but we call our Nissan Exterra "Tank", because it rides like one.  Must admit though; the "Tank" is reliable.

Rangers were in the Revolutionary War as well.  They were our Special Forces.

Works for me! Are they self-defense dogs? ;)

smokeless joe

I had two dogs named Ruger and Rossi 😄

RangerJim

I'd love to see Queen Anne when your foot heals, Canoeal.  Hope all is going well with the healing process.

And I love all the dog names, everyone!  Very cute!   ;D
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

I  bought a Husky pup for my wife and kids back when, with money that was going for a new Ruger rifle. It was only fitting that he be named Ruger. Long gone, and we still miss him...
Guns, no names, unless they fail to fire.

Yes both Uzi and Ruger are owed by single women and German Shepard's being trained as protection dogs. Uzi Training

Dang, Son - I thought you were an Amurican! Seriously, Lonesome Dove is one of the finest westerns ever written and the mini series does a great job telling the tale. You MUST watch it. Really.

I've only caught an episode here or there ...  But I might have to seriously check it out based on your recommendation, Michael.  Thanks for the heads-up!

Never named a gun before. As I'll probably dual pocket carry the ranger twos allot I'm considering thunder and lightning and refer the pair as the twins.

I like those names, but as with all twins I have to ask if you can tell them apart?

David Culp

Sure I can tell the twins apart! They have tattoos. One is 114 and one is 119!

Bigbird48

I like Thunder and Lightning good names :D
