I have a Taurus m85, a J frame clone, that weighs 17 ounces. Loaded it weighs a considerable amount.

I've got a Taurus M85 with the gold trigger and hammer accents and pearl like grips. The one and only time I fired it, the dang hammer dug into the web of my thumb so much that it drew blood...and it was two weeks before it healed up! Shooting regular rounds...not +P! And It ain't my first rodeo! I often shoot my Bond Arms Derringers in 45/410 and 44 Special without this painful result!
