Yeah, the discounts.  It amazes me that anyone who owns a firearm and supports the Right that the 2A gives us is still willing to give AARP money to fight against that Right because it saves them a little money.  Remember those discounts when the Antis finally win and take away your firearms. ::)

Just yankin' your chain, Warty! I can't support anyone who doesn't support the Constitution fully.

Good, I wasn't just saying that to you either, I know that many of the oldsters here are members of AARP.  :'(

I am with you though, if you aren't in favor of the entire Constitution, then forget ever asking me to join.  >:(

Like you know anything, you young whippersnapper :)

Other than actual "pro gun organizations" like the NRA, that are pro gun for obvious reasons and exist for that purpose, is there any organization that is pro gun anymore? or for that matter not run by a load of liberal lefties? I guess there might be a few who are too timid to admit it in today's world, but I think even the Republican party would be against guns, if they didn't need the votes from gun owners and a way to pretend they aren't Democrats.

There are  many companies that just keep out of the firearm isue.  There are also a lot who think they know better and work hard to make the guns go away.  I avoid the ones that want to get involved and work against my standing, the rest of them, as long as they stay out of it, I don't really care what they think as individuals.

Lefties love boycotts and leftist news outlets (almost all of them) love to cover boycotts, so it's not wise to express any conservative views if you own a business.

Coming from a family business background, I learned long ago - no bumper stickers, no signs in the yard, no working in any political groups.  Never publicly express your position.  All you have to do is upset one customer, and the snow ball rolls down the hill.

Well, I was also involved in a family business at one time.  I didn't care, I wore progun t-shirts and had progun bumper sticker on my car.  I didn't have any on my motorcycle but I guess I wasn't really able to find  place to put on and have it easily seen in traffic.  My Dad never cared about it either, he was very conservative at one time too.  Never figure out what happened to him I think he has watched too much TV but that's me.

I'm with you, Warty.  I don't have my own business, but I do wear my NRA hats and clothing proudly wherever I go.  It's who I am, and what I believe.  And I want those who see me to think about that.  Period.
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

RangerJim

... and while I'm not yet old enough to join AARP, I may not even consider it now.  Thanks for the heads-up.

I did cancel my AARP membership quit some time ago, maybe when they were pushing obamacare.

For anyone in or interested in AARP.
They help finance the Brady handgun control bunch.
I was in it for a couple of years before I found out.
Dropped out when the NRA published a list of the  groups giving money to the Brady's.

I see where this was posted before me.
Oh well, oh well..
