I'm getting ready to order a new set of magnum grips and I'm looking for advice.  I love the look of the boot grips but have also heard great things about the CV grips.  These will be for EDC on my Ranger 2. Please let me know your thoughts.

Ok if this is going to your edc then these are my thoughts. Both are great grips l, I have a NAA boot grip on my black widow and a CVang on my pug and alternate them regularly for my edc. I think you would be happy with either one. If your going for looks and wearability then go with the engraved boot grip. If you have your heart set on the CVang for edc then get the plastic set. They will stand up to the edc better than his wood version. I know from experience as I sent back the wood version in exchange for the plastic ones. Chong is a great guy and was very understanding of my needs and I will def Buy from him in the future. Hope that helps.

CV grips need to be adjusted a little bit I am told.  Little bit of Dremel work and they are fine.  I have a pair of those for my Ranger II as well as a pair of Engraved Boot Grips plus, I am getting a set from Sid, Stag Look Boot grips.  So IDK what I will use but it will be one of those.

Thanks for the replies, I have not fired a magnum with either grip. Do you think one has an edge over the other for shooting?  I have medium size hands but find the standard grips almost impossible to grip.

The Boot Grips, engraved or not, should be fine for you.  My hands are a bit larger so I love the CV grips.
