Ranger II Comment (fyi)

Received my Ranger II this afternoon.  Couple of comments for those who may still be wondering...I immediately replaced the grip with the oversized GMM-M (great fit as Ranger is a magnum frame).  Also tried both the HMM-2 and the HIP-M holsters.  Ranger fit nicely in each.  Last note on the Ranger...measured the 'effective' barrel length, that being from cap end on cylinder (firing pin) to exit end of actual barrel and found it to be 3"exactly.  That's 3/16 inch greater than my SideWinder effective barrel length.  Just throwing that out if anyone is interested.

Barrel length does not include the cylinder, projectile does not get any additional velocity from the cylinder . Well maybe a little when shooting LR from a mag cylinder but not mags on a mag
