Well, still no charge and no notice, so I'm guessing Rangers won't be under my tree. My birthday is next week, so maybe I'll get them for that. I don't even know if NAA is open today, or maybe not even next week.

So, I'm wondering how they picked the order. I'm thinking maybe it was he order you signed up. I jumped on the deal right away when they first announced the order page, but when that first order was voided, I took longer to order the second time. I'm thinking now maybe that's why I haven't gotten mine yet. Bummer. Oh well.

that cant be it, i put my order in right away and nothing here either
Saving the best for last.  I have not seen anything yet lol starts to make you think did they get my order lol

No problem WESCOG.  I put these on it and I love them.  Shaved a little off the beak so the latch would be easy to work and VOILA!  I looked in my Parts Drawer and found I had some Eagle Grips I forgot I bought.  I will put the other set on my other Ranger II and that will be that.  They are larger than a regular grip, thicker.  It feels good in my hand and I imagine when I can go to the range next week the will shoot well too.

That looks sharp, Warty!

RangerJim

That's beautiful, Warty!  The way it extends over the breaktop latch gives it an even more 3-dimensional effect than it already has.  Love it!   :D
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

Ruger

Warty - got my Eagle grips on one of the Sidewinders.  Glad I bought them way back when.  They do add to the "gripability" of the Sidewinder, and look good, but I really think the Boot Grips take the little guy to the next level.  But you know i'll try them on a Ranger, if I ever get one . . .

Another nice combination Warty. Those look really nice on the Ranger.

Warthog

I tried the EBay white pearl grips on my other Ranger, fit perfectly.  So did the other Boot Grips so I guess the first one, #113, had a little bit wider back frame.  No problem, the Eagle Grips look great and will my EDC grips once I get my Holster.  Put the 22LR Cylinder on #118 with the pearl boot grips and changing the cylinders is very easy.  I plan on taking both to the range next week and trying them out, one with Magnums and the other with LR. ;)

Those are some nice looking grips!

Magnum 1-5/8"
Super Companion 1-5/8"
LR 1-1/8"

Thank you WESCOG, these will be my EDC Grips.  The Pearl grips and the other boot grips fit my other Ranger but not the first one so it must be wider in back.

Here they are as they will be used, Eagle Grips on the Magnum, Pearl Boot Grips on the 22LR

Pearl is classy

smokeless joe

Warty are those the pearl boot grips for sale on eBay? Nice!

PaducahMichael

Joe, they look like the ones I bought on eBay. They're really nice in person.

Can someone Please tell me what the H3LL I'm looking at here ?

PaducahMichael

Looks like the grips are too low on the frame. Slide them up a bit.

I was checking them out myself and thinking about getting a set. I've got so many grips now what would one more set hurt right? Besides some day you dress casual some days it's coat and tie ;)

Doo what a cute little stainless steel ranger two. Just what I always wanted my own little ranger two, I will name it and I will hug it and pet it and squeeze it and pat it and pet it and rub it and caress  it.

Picked them  up today! 114 and 119. Bummed not sequential however happy to have them. Not sure it would be worth the expense to trade with someone else to get sequential. My lgs owner was impressed with then. He wanted one for himself. Told him to call naa he's not getting one of mine. They fit into my rkba  sidewinder holster fine. They fit into my de Santos mini mag holster okay, just sticks out a little. They fit into my mini mag ankle and shoulder holsters fine. They are only a tiny bit larger than the sidewinder wick is a little larger than the mini mag. I Blackhawk size 4 pocket holster will hold it alright too. Sticks out a little from a watch pocket and sticks out too far from a shirt pocket. When you close the cylinder you need to visually line up the safety notch since you cannot see it once it's closed. I like. Will post after I shoot them. Hmm pictures not posting will try again.

David Culp

I tried to post more pictures a few times but I must be exceeding size limits so I'll try again with less per post

Congrats on getting yours, as far as safety notch is concerned
Its just like all the other minis when closed. You half cock it and roll the cylinder till the hammer falls in the notch.  :)

Ah, really?  Someone die?  I'm sorry.

Really though, when I started in business in the 70's, it was coat and tie in the office everyday.  It gradually got more casual, until now I have been seen wearing (my best) sweat pants and T Shirt to work, working for the same company.

Hehe. Try crossing your eyes and see if that helps--with viewing, not with the headache; it's bound to be worse for that.

Bigbird48

I've had a headache all day today, can't shake it :(
