Question on sight picture for the Ranger 2

On the ranger1 it appears to have rear sights, does the ranger 2 have rear sights or is the bead on the front used like the bead on a shotgun?

As seen in the picture, the breaktop latch actually serves as the rear sight ...  Pretty cool design, actually.
