My YouTube box-opening review of my EB Ranger II Break-Top!

OK, here you go! I finally opened up my Ranger II box and made a review video for my YouTube channel Half-Cocked Reviews. Let me know what you think!

I found using the half cock position means you can open and close the gun to your hearts content. Also I use a less hi-tec way of telling which cylinder is which by looking inside to see how long the chambers are. The LR is very easy to spot, at least I learned from your video thay are marked, I did look quick but couldn't see anything, I'll have to look closer when it returns, because one thing for certain is you will find yourself wondering which cylinder is which, I know I did several times while swapping over during shooting and when cleaning.

Oh, good tip on the half-cock. I'll have to try that.

My LR cylinder is just marked with an L, not LR. Some of my LR cylinders for other NAA's also have the R, but not this one. I didn't check to see if the magnum cylinder has an M, but I'm guessing it does.

Thanks, Roger! I had a hard time not opening the box right away, but you just don't get unscripted reactions unless you open it cold. I had fun making the video tonight. I think it turned out pretty good, although you can't see any of the markings when I'm holding it out, which is why I added the closeups. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video sir. Good job. On all my conversion models the long rifle cylinder is marked with an L. I have not seen any markings on the magnum cylinder.

Excellent video, MR_22!  You had me nervous when you couldn't close the latch at first, but then you solved it right on camera for us to see.  Very instructive and helpful!      And the close-ups at the end were money!  Well done, sir!

LOL, that was kind of the point--to get my first responses to seeing the Ranger. If I takes me a few minutes to figure out how the latch works, I'm sure others are experiencing the same thing, so that's helpful! I don't mind making myself look like a buffoon for the greater good of humanity! Haha. Thanks for watching at least part of it, LOL!

That was hard to do, I tell you! I told my dealer to have it packed back up when I picked it up, so I couldn't see it. I always get out my guns when my dealer gets them in, even before I do the paperwork, but I had to exercise some serous self control because I wanted to do a "cold-start" review video. I think it turned out pretty good. But that meant I had to wait an extra day, because by the time I got home after picking it up, I was too tired to work on a video.
