Still my general belief is that the magnum load is the problem . The energy produced by a magnum rifle cartridge is so much more than the Long rifle , it delivers so much shock to the small frame its no wonder things go afoul and I don't think it can be readily solved . Not even owning a Ranger II I know all would be good with the gun if left in long rifle mode . If anybody can find different , please let us know . Haven't had any problems , except casing enlargement after firing and a little difficulty expelling all casings ,  with the 1 model but I do wish they did make a long rifle cylinder for it .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

I'm rather bewildered by everything myself. I certainly don't think they allowed forum members to rush them considering that they took two years and Sandy was extremely emphatic the whole time about not rushing. I truly believe they will get it right on this model quickly and that no one should be concerned about any other models or have any concerns whatsoever about NAA or their products.

But some things have me really scratching my head. I can't even begin to describe how guilty I feel that I'm headed down to pick up my Rangers tomorrow while senior members like unc are still waiting. And some have reported not getting the promised "EB" serial numbers. No biggie I guess, just odd. And 38sp getting his gun back with the same misfire problems is also odd.

I won't consider mine for defense until I get a minimum of 50 rounds through it with no misfires.

BTW, Lemon, I understand you're tired of this but we've been waiting a long time! Also, the "Other Guns (Non-NAA)" might be a good place to hang out and talk about your Mossberg until us Ranger II nutheads start behaving somewhat normally!

I for one will no longer say anything else related to the RII issue. So I guess i will have little to comment on...

C'mon man, we are all NAA Fanboys but we still gotta tell it like it is. If I can't trust you guys who love them to tell me the real skinny, who can I trust? I think Sandy appreciates hearing what we say because he knows we love his products and are buying them! I'm sure he scratches his head and mumbles, "you just can't make anyone happy" but he'd rather hear it from us than a guy who writes for a gun mag that is already a hater before he tries one! I've had a few problems with my mini's but yet I keep buying them! lol

When I get to shoot mine, I'll definitely post how it went. I hope to say it went fantastic!! If it doesn't, I'll let you know and then I will also talk about how wonderful the customer service experience is (cause I know it will be great). Sandy needs to hear that too so people like Jessica can get a big, fat bonus and a raise!!

All I was trying to say is how is the impatience effecting the product, and how does the critique of the first few look to the newbie, or worse yet some guy checking out NAAs? I don't think it helps the cause...

I would hope not one whit.
NAA is going through their whole testing and product reliability program before releasing the first gun.
They release a few found some issues, stopped investigated the issues, made corrections and started back up.
This is a standard type process and hopefully people discussion on this board did not affect their work.
As they get more out on the street they will investigate issues and make adjustments to the design/manufacturing process and move on.
The design may change some over time or they may just need to tweak the current design or manufacturing process.
This forum most likely will be used for feedback as to how the guns are running.

Actually, it's better than free ...  We are paying for the privilege!   ;D
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!
