What should the NEXT Ranger look like?

As I was looking through NAA's website something struck me as a nice combination for the Ranger II.

A blued barrel and cylinder.

A case hardened grip frame.

With an ivory like boot grip.

What do you think?

I think it would look really sharp.

Maybe in two years  ;D

That would be really nice, especially with a longer barrel. Just a regular ivory grip, though. I think the boot ones ruin the lines of the gun.

WTB Freedom Arms Patriot .22 LR (1 5/8")

Warthog

Well, I like the Ivory Boot Grip but how about this one...

A Black Widow style barrel, same length on the Ranger breaktop frame.

I was thinking about this a while back Pat and thought that might just be something that would look and shoot great.

I'd like to see some blued Rangers.

I should expect the next versions to simply be different barrel lengths. A Kalifornia model should be one of the first. It would be interesting if the barrels will simply interchange & how much would it cost for extra barrels?

I'd really like to see blued (& color-casehardened) models, and would have more models than I have if they were readily available. While acknowledging the advantages of stainless (or polymer) weapons with synthetic grips, I'm a bit of a traditionalist and strongly prefer blued steel & walnut. I've used stainless/polymer/synthetic, but my lifestyle/location no longer makes those attributes necessary, so aesthetics as well as quality get the nod.

Bright sights at least as an option.

I'd really like to see a case hardened or blued version. I think it would be a work of art for sure.

That would be nice if you could buy a different barrel length.

I expect the case hardened and blued versions will be available through the custom shop.

I guess I like the barrels on the Black Widow, they look great to me.  Boot Grips make them look like a revolver, birds head grips aren't typically thought of on revolvers.

What if the Ranger II is a big success?  Could there eventually be a Ranger .25, .32, .380 ... with all being BTs If the design is established with the Ranger II?  Only time will tell.  That would be a major change in direction for revolvers overall.

Warthog

Well, that would make a total re-engineering of it Bj.

I have put a box of Magnums through my Ranger II, the other one I set up to be 22LR but I haven't gone to the range since I decided to shoot them both when I am at the range.  I put some Boot Grips on the 22LR, the pearl Ebay type, but I think I am going to change them to something else and sell the pearl ones.  I guess I was hoping that after I bought one from the guy, he might be able to make one in a color I wanted, but he said no. :(

Not sure the maker of this 2 barrel set, but would be fun to own a Ranger with this type of modification.
