I thought I would do a photo shoot before it gets dirty. The quality is amazing, such precision!

Beautiful piece of craftsmanship. I just hope it doesn't have the same disease some of the others seem to have contracted.

So far so good!! I just ran 50 rounds, 10 CCI Gold Dot .22 Mag and 40 .22 long rifle, with no issues.

The only thing I noticed was I have to hold low on the target, it's seems about 5" high at 25 feet. The left and right was right on. The front sight needs to be a little taller.

Thanks for the photo shoot and report. What serial number if you don't mind me asking.

Beautiful pics, DS!  I'm happy to hear you have a good one!  Enjoy!   :D
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

I'm wondering if 10 magnum shells is enough tho. I'm still thinking minimum of 50 but expecting to run 100 thru mine before if give it two thumbs up. Prob the same on lr.

Beautiful lay out.
Good job.
Thanks.

I would expect a gun with such tight tolerances like the Ranger II would need to be cleaned quite often, it wouldn't surprise me to get malfunctions after that many rounds in the Ranger.  I wonder how the first Ranger did when it's dirty, I get the impression they are just collectable safe queens and never shot.

I will shoot mine more when I get a chance.

Also I didn't want to get CCI Gold Dots but that's all they had. I would expect to have problems with them when I shoot more of them. I suspect CCI uses the same hard thick brass as their center fire primers that are unreliable in my revolvers with lighter hammer springs.

Well done, great camera work!!!!
Thanks

After finally getting my hands a Ranger II to use my loaders, I find that if you don't hold the cylinder latch down when loading you can accidentally release the cylinder.

I recommend either holding down the latch when loading or lift the extractor a little and push the loader against it, either way works very well.

Thanks for the link and the tip ;)

Great shots David!

Do you think you'll carry your Ranger II?

I didn't have any trouble with releasing the cylinder but maybe I was manhandling the DS-10 Speed Loader! lol!!

Love Davids range box & speed loaders!  :)

Makes shooting at the range all about shooting and not about fumbling a chasing shells all over!!

Not sure if I will carry it but it won't be complete without one of your holsters, count me in for one.
