I just got back my Ranger 2 from North American Arms yesterday. I had sent it in as many of you know, for the second time for the same problems. Mis-fires , the cylinder not rotating correctly and cases sticking. The first time they replaced the mainspring and a cylinder. This time they replaced the main spring and the hammer. I am very happy to say that I've shot 45, 22 Magnums and about 30, 22 long rifles through the pistol without a single malfunction. It appears that NAA has got it right ! They have been nothing but great to work with and very, very fast. I don't expect to but if anything changes I will keep you posted.

So, we can expect that eventually they will make them all right. Yeah!

I have no doubt that they will. It might take a little bit but they'll get the bugs worked out of them.

It is great to read an encouraging post relating to the Ranger II. Thanks for the report!

Super to hear! Please keep shooting. What ammo are you using thru the magnum cylinder???
Not sure why, but Dad always said "Shoot Straight" before every hunt

When mine comes back I am hoping to be a part of the success story. I know that I will.

That is awesome, thanks for sharing! Just read Sandy's new soapbox and I feel very confident that they will get it right.

I dropped my Ranger off at NAA this afternoon, between how things went there and from reading Sandy's Soapbox I can say I have no concerns. I have no intention of sending mine back for a refund, but you have to admire a company that would make such an offer.

I met with Dustin whois their gunsmith and I believe responsible for production of the Ranger and we went through the problems and so on. I'm hoping as I didn't clean it after my last range visit, it will be easier for them to replicate the issues with some test firing, which if (fingers crossed) they occur for them will I think be beneficial to both sides.

I just can't get too upset and frustrated when I can see that people are genuinely interested in, and determined to solve the problems. I've been around too long to assume that everything will always go as I'd like it to and I know from my own business experience that despite every effort and intent to provide perfection, things just do go wrong sometimes.
