Cylinder pin lock wear on barrel

Hey everyone! First post here. I bought my .22 ported magnum back in December and have put about 550 rounds through it, and have noticed the semi-sphere underneath the barrel that holds the cylinder pin in place has sort've warped a bit toward the tip of the barrel from removing/putting in the pin when discarding/reloading rounds. Is this anything I should be particularly worried about when recreationally shooting 100+ rounds through it at a time? Thanks ahead!

Perhaps the cylinder pin is not moving all the way to the seated position. (?)
Call customer service and they will probably send you a new pin.
