tritium sight for BW.

So, I am moving on from the luminescent paint idea, to trying to find a manufacturer for tritium sights that fit the BW.  The information I have is that the dovetail base measures .402 (.400?) across the bottom and .378 (.375?) across the barrel. Does anyone have different measurements? Is there enough interest, if I find someone willing to make them, to produce a small order, or am I the only one? I plan to start at XS Sights, who make the one for the Pug and the Guardian.

My guess is they already make a front sight that size, we just don't know what gun it fits. Someone in that company has a list of sizes. If they have one just slightly larger, the slot can be opened up fairly easily.

I would be interested if you make progress.

Hello Al,
There was a thread awhile back on making your own tritium sights that I was following, and it disappeared - no explanations. Perhaps there was a legal issue with handling tritium vials? Don't know.

So anyway your thread reminded me and I just ordered tritium vials and received them today. They were being sold as attachments to those finger fidget spinners the kids play with. I have attached a photo of them in the capsule they were mailed to me in, from China. Couldn't get a photo to insert here.

I am going to try either drilling a sight if I get a small enough bit and inserting one, or perhaps filing a groove and cementing it in place.

I ordered three 1.5 x 6 mm vials and a bottle of UV cured glue and with shipping came to $30.00

The XS sights may be the better option.
