Looking for input about this style of pocket holster.

A customer was looking for something that would fit in smaller pockets but still have 5 extra shells.

I have been carrying one like this with my Black Widow for 5 or 6 months and it works well for me but other opinions are appreciated.

The Bug-Out stands out for trying new designs.

This style holster is not available at this time but if could be at a later date.

Opinions, comments, critiques are appreciated.

Looks great! I like the way that the hammer is well covered, and of course it looks beautiful, like all of your holsters. Since you have been using a similar one, how well does it stay in your pocket? I feel ignorant, because I don't know the correct term for it, but the "hook" which contains the extra rounds that keeps the holster in your pocket looks like it might be smaller than it is on some other holsters (the NAA pocket holster, for example). That would be nice for carrying and concealment, if it stays in the pocket when it's supposef to!

I like it except for the side pocket for extra cartridges. I am not a fan of said pockets. Everything else looks fabulous.

Thanks Seaotter,

It stays in the pocket fine.  I thought it might fall back and make the grip at a bad angle but it works, it keeps the grip upright.

The "Draw" works perfectly.  I like mine a little looser than most people,  when I ship a holster they are on the "tighter side" so customers can adjust to their liking.

I loosen the draw on mine by putting a couple sandwich bags on my gun and pushing it in the holster then carry in the pocket for a couple hours.

This stretches the leather with the correct shape a couple thousandths without any damage....  Like a new pair of Cowboy Boots!  :D

I know the extra ammo option is not needed in your EDC  :D

Did you "acquire" a Bug-Out?  I don't recall if I had seen a post.

Curious about your thoughts on it.  Uncle_Lee gave it rave reviews in a post when they first came out.  (for design)

Thanks Seaotter,

No, I have not acquired one. It is rather nice looking but I have not made the decision to get one as of yet. I have the Ranger II and still need to do some mods to it before I decide on another Mini.

A Big Thumbs Up on the narrow version of your pocket holster.  I like the ammo pouch too.  I like to carry a few shotshells with me when I'm out rambling.  You never no when a new fishing hole will present itself, and you never know what snakes may be around.

I like the ammo pouch, as well. It's handy when I go plinking out in the woods. You never know when a tin can or old bucket might jump out and attack you! In such cases a reload is always handy.

Very nice Rick. I like the side open pouch option. Options are good as one size does not fit all.

Stopped in to see Rick and John yesterday saw the new Driving Holster, like WOW its beautiful and functional. Even with my spare tire it would be an easy draw foe me. :D
