PUG LaserLyte?

Questions for PUG Laser users:

Does the laser work under bright daylight situations?

What is max laser range and does it improve accuracy enough to justify the cost?

I really like the PUG grips; how much difference do you notice with the laser grips? If an issue, other grip alternatives?

What impact does it have on size and weight?

Are they hard to install?

Would you buy them again?

How long is battery life and is it difficult to replace the batteries?

How long have you had them on your PUG?

Thank you.

I don't know how much help I'll be as I bought my Talo Pug with the laser installed. I've never handled a Pug with Pug grips much less shot one. I had a Wasp and that's all I can compare it to. The Wasp would jump up quite a bit with the original grips, not so with the CVangs. The Pug I have is also ported and may contribute to the smaller Laserlyte grip being more controllable than my Wasp with birdheads that came with it. I've had the Laserlyte off, they are very easy to install. The original batteries went dead far quicker than my Crimson Trace batteries did on my J-frame but they are very easy to replace. Bright daylight outside pretty useless. Inside is better. Low light and night time I'd guess they're good for 30-35 yards. Accurate at that distance? No clue. I have cataracts with trifocals, so I'd have to say they are a help to me. I would have to guess they are smaller than the Pug grips except at the top. I got this gun maybe 8-10 weeks ago. Would I buy again? Yes. I hope this helps. Stay safe, John

a green laser would be cool. my pointer pen laser is very bright outside. as it seems to me there is no size or battery difference between the red and green devices. i hope someone builds a green one at a good price and size for the mini. i just bet it might sell and convert some anti laser aiming guy to the other side of the coin. just my two.  kevin

Agreed! My S&W 649-3 is equipped with a green laser and is a highly improved asset. They all should be green. Sign me up!
