I'm sure we all agree that NAA makes it really easy to "carry tiny" ...  So what else do you carry along with your NAA mini?  Here's one of my daily loadouts:

NAA Mini LR 1 1/8" with CV Grips
- LED Lenser Micro Flashlight
- Split Pea Lighter
- Leatherman Style CS

So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

seaotter

That CV Grips look really nice on your mini. Looks like it would much easier to hold on to, as well, without making it much larger.

Uncle_Lee

What do I carry with my mini??

Two more minis..

Thanks, Seaotter, and you're right ... the grip makes a huge difference in the handling of this little mini.  It still fits nicely in my little watch pocket, and now it's actually fun to shoot!   :)

My tiny etc.

Fenix E01 mini flashlight, Leatherman Squirt mini multitool, Victyorinox classic in leather keyring sheath. The old Remington.Camillus pocket knife only  gets carried once in a while if I think I'm, going to need a dedicated knife. The knife blade on the little Victorinox and Leatherman is usually all I need in the way of a knife. I can't imagine going through a day without my little Leatherman! The aluminum Bison tube on keyring is for aspirin in case of impending vapor lock and arthritis pain. Sometimes a second mini gets carried.

My old P-38 is stashed in my wallet in case of a can that needs opening. The P-38 has a few dozen uses.

Aspirin and vapor lock?

You know, the big one! :o

My friend Harry had some chest pains at work a few years ago and nausea and pain running downhill left arm. His boss sat him down and had him chew up a few aspirins while the EMT's were on the way. He was having a real life heart attack. Later at the hospital, the doctor told him that his boss and the aspirin saved his life. Apparently aspirin chewed up at the onset of a heart attack vastly increases your odds of survival. Who knew?

Plus it does help with arthritis. Hey, getting old ya have to prepare for stuff like that!

ikoiko

Just couldn't make the association with a heart attack. Chances are, if you haven't taken an aspirin by the time you reach the emergency department, you will get one there. Taking an aspirin is part of "basic life support" protocol for heart attack.

Boisesteve

Which NAA I carry has mostly to do with what I'm wearing that day.  I'm a little guy, and the magnum will print thru some pockets that'll hide the little mini.
The knife is there, the flashlight is my iPhone, and for first-aid materials I'll use anything at hand.
Also, thanks cbl, I'm gonna consider adding one of those aspirin vials. It's a good idea, something that can't be improvised when needed.
Be well all, Steve in Boise

And thanks for contributing one of your everyday carry pics.  Is that a lighter, a flashlight, or a pill bottle?  Either way, very cool!   8)

Great EDC assortment, cbl!  And that is a really good idea about carrying the pill bottle in case of "vapor lock" ...  May have to do the same thing!   ;D

Yeah Tex, that oversize grip has gotta be a popular mod.  It sure transforms the magnum in my hands, makes it much easier for me to shoot.
And Ranger, those mini grips are old NAA oversize wood grips, the first I ever saw, reshaped and sanded by me to be smaller and thinner to fit my hand and pocket to my liking, and darkened by decades of shooting and pocket carry.
Be well all, Steve in Boise

Yup! I've had a heart attack or two! Always carry baby aspirin...many and take one each am. I have chewed 4 when experiencing chest pain and then been fine. Used to carry nitro..but it just relieves the pain, (sometimes), but the baby aspirin will flat out stop a heart attack! Highly recommended for those with heart problems! Of course I have a few other problems....5 broken vertebrae, bad ticker, pulmonary fibrosis ( terminal evidently), 2 knees needing replaced, what seems to be a flesh eating spider bite, and degenerative disk disease! Still...everyday on this side of the dirt is a good one! Oh...and I have 5 minis..an original Mini, a Pug, a Black Widow, an EB Sidewinder, and an EB Ranger II! I hope to buy one more...an Earl with the 3 inch barrel! Looking forward to that one!
I have a lot of large caliber handguns including 45 acp and 45 Colt..but my Minis are my go to EDC.

All would be well and all would be well and all manner of things would be well.

ikoiko

Talk to your doctor, but the nitro expands the heart's blood vessels allowing blood to flow.

The aspirin helps keep platelets from sticking together and forming a clot.

The nitro may well be beneficial.

Biff

I always carry the Sidewinder, unless in very light shorts, then I carry the 22lr.  I only admire the Earls.  Quick, someone spot the differences in the Earls.  :)

I have several "edc" outfits, but here is my tiny one:

Kershaw Cinder with bottle cap opened (handier than it looks. I use it all of the time. I have to sharpen it frequently tho)

Nitecore Tube flashlight (love it. Got one for each of my family members)

Generic tiny multi tool (my oldest daughter have it to me for Christmas when she was still a kid. Cheap junk, but it still works well more than a decade later)

Keys

22lr short barrel mini

De Santis holster with 7 extra rounds.

Ya know, the whole thing about the mini is, it's always with you. So small, there's really no excuse not to have a gun on you. The same lesson goes for other mini stuff. Little flashlights, the smallest multitools. Having that itty bitty Leatherman has let me actually fix stuff in some weird places in the middle of nowhere. It may not be a very big screw driver or pliers, but they do work. Like the mini revolver, it will get it done. And the little AAA Fenix has worked in blackouts, metro train tunnels, and dark nights in the woods or tent looking for some dropped item.

The true beauty of the mini items; they're always there to serve in a pinch.

Those split pea lighters work well.  I put a little fluid in mine over 2 years ago and it fired right up today.

For heart attacks there's a supplement called nattokinase which is a powerful blood thinner.  It apparently works just as well as the stuff they give you in the ambulance but costs 10 cents per dose instead of $2000.

Nattokinase is an enzyme taken from "natto" which is fermented soybeans eaten for breakfast in Japan.  I have experienced no side effects while taking it daily.  I also take one if I get chest pains and so far so good.  Swanson Vitamins carries it.

cbl51

Alcohol thins the blood out pretty well too. My morning dose of bourbon in my breakfast toddy puts things in a nice frame of mind for day. The cocktail with lunch helps, I'm sure. The after dinner bourbon keeps the dose up to insure no blood clotting. It must work, because I feel very good during the day! A couple aspirins at bedtime and I don't get a vapor lock during the night.

I like to just eat the natto, but only in the rolled sushi! I find the natto over rice too sticky and difficult to eat. I like that natto seems to have a slightly bitter taste, somewhat like chocolate covered coffee beans!
