BW Grip on Pug

Would someone that has replaced their standard Hogue Pug grip with a BW Oversized Rubber Grip please give me info on width size differences (relative to holster fit) and handling.

From what I have read in the threads the use of alcohol makes removing the Hogue grips fairly straightforward? If I decide I do not like the BW grips will it be possible to put the Hogue grip back on?

Thank you, Mike

I had the B-W grip on the Pug I wished I had never got rid of.  Don't even remember what gun I "thought" I needed more than the Pug.  At any rate, I liked the B-W grip on the Pug, gave it the same feel as my Widow. It didn't seem to interfere with my ability to conceal it. Will probably put another one on the Pug I intend to order this coming week.  I have one of the large Mag grips made of wood, liked it also, but couldn't stop the "wiggle".  Kind of messed me up when shooting.  The B-W grip don't wiggle.  Alcohol didn't help me in removing the Pug grip.   And yes, I put it on the grip, not in my stomach.  So, I ruined my stock Pug grip taking it off but liked the B-W grip better anyway.

Thanks for the info. The stock Pug grip is not that expensive should one change their mind.

Even with alcohol the grip may tear coming off, mine had already started to tear from shooting magnums. The BW grips are great and the difference in discrete carry is minimal. I use all the same holsters and pockets as before. However, I feel like I have a much better grip and more control now.

Here's a pic of the old school Black Widow grips on the Pug. Makes it look like a sawed off Black Widow  ;D

Hmmm, I do have a spare Black Widow grip. I guess that means I need a Pug.

If I have the time, I may take a couple of photos of the Pug before and after the BW change out and Photoshop them together. It is kinda hard to tell just looking at the after without anything with which to compare it. Still, thank you for the pic. Don't know how long the delivery time is for the BW grips.

Now see that's exactly how to get things done. Don't let those grips go to waste.
