My Ranger II came back today (2nd Trip Back to NAA). First impressions are that it operates and cocks good. The hammer cock is a little stiff, but I think it will smooth out after some use. The 22 Mag cylinder has very smooth bore's. Gun was pretty dirty, so they test fired it a lot. Will be awhile before I can get to the range, but will update when I do. My main complaint was the lead spray on hands and face using 22 Mag rounds. The below parts were replaced, according to enclosed work sheet.

BT2 Barrel, BT Mag Cylinder Assy, Magnum Hand, BT Barrel Latch, BT Cylinder Sleeve, BT Barrel Latch Spring,
BT Barrel Latch Pin, BT Frame Pivot Pin, BT Ejector Cam, BT Ejector Cam Spring

Sound like a lot. Seems they replaced all of the internals but the hammer, and they used the same frame...

I was thinking the same thing

Well you can't say they didn't make every effort to fix it :)

Good, let us know how it works when you are able to get it to the range. ;)

Hopefully fixed it to your satisfaction. Keep the faith brother and thanks for representing on those Patriot Guard Riders missions.

Well WTF I just picked up my gun after 2 months at NAA and all the paper work says Installed LR Cyl , Shoots High left   >:(

Thats it they got to be kidding me >:( looking over the gun its clean too, I wonder if they test fired it at all?. The reason it went back the 3rd time was because of the shooting high left.

BigBird,  Test fire it and see if it has improved. If not...well... you've already emailed Sandy, right? Send him an update. I think he will appreciate it in the long run.

Well I guess you have to try it so you can experience for yourself the definition of "High Left". Mine did the same very badly with the original barrel. I haven't really tested mine for accuracy since the last time it came back as my range visit was focused on the function of the hammer and cylinder, and the ongoing sticking case issue. It was much better from my limited test, but I didn't get the impression it was accurate, just better than before.

I wonder if  the issues come from the rear sight being on the frame and naturally the front sight on the barrel. Firstly, could the barrel be out of line and secondly is it caused by the barrel moving under the pressure of it firing.

I should take mine and try it again, however it started hitting my face with something coming out of the cylinder gap again, drawing blood,  and I don't care for that so, I'm not sure whether to try it again or just wait and send it back when the rush dies down.
