While looking for a gun between my P32 and S&W 649, I was looking at the PM9 Kahr.  I checked around the various forums, found only a small amount amount of info on the gun.  I did read one post that the owner had run 500 rounds thru it and the frame was cracking. Also, very little in the way of customer service from Kahr, according to the writer.  Any input from Kahr PM9 owners?

It's a nice size.  Not as small as the Guardian, ect. so not as universally practical, but still a winner.

Shoots very well and surprisingly accurate.  Mine had the initial problem of the first round out of the magazine getting hung up on the face of the feed ramp.  Repeated breaking-in and polishing had little or no effect for almost a full year of trying.

Kahr recently sent me a new barrel and spring.  The new barrel looks almost exactly the same as my old one, but has had the ramp angle (seemingly) slightly flattened and is very nicely polished.

I guess that such a small package with a larger round leaves very little room for error.  I'm pretty sure that the bugs are worked out so I'd highly recommend it.  I felt that their customer service was highly responsive although I've heard reports to the contrary (you can't believe everything that you hear).  I've never heard of a cracking frame and there are lots of reports out there.

I still have to get me a .22 Mag Mini Revolver w/short barrel.  That's next, I think.

I have a PM-9 and love it. I carry it in a Kydex IWB holster by FIST. I've put about 400+ rounds through it with no problems. I traded the extended mag for a flush fit mag and thought their customer service was great. I sometimes use an Uncle Mikes pocket holster if I'm wearing jeans with big pockets. I only wish now that I had night sights.

Customer service is not Kahr's strong suit. But overall, I love their guns.

Hi Richard:

   Don't you miss your Seecamp?

Has Seecamp started to ship its 380 yet?

I have the PM9 and have about 100 rounds through it and its been right on target no problems that others might of had. With the 7 rd. mag I have 8 rds.that are on target to 30 feet so I am very happy with it.Naa should look into making a 9mm or 40mm gun.of this size.

Hi George, no, don't miss the Seecamp.  Don't know re the Seecamp .380. When I need max concealment, I go with the P32.   I pretty well either carry my K-T P32, S&W 649, or S&W 337.  Still keep hoping NAA will come up with a center fire revolver smaller than the J-frames,  but that seemingly is not going to happen.  Have been sniffing the Kahr PM9 of late, have read some disappointing reviews, so I posted this thread.  BTW, thanks to all for the info.
