My thoughts also.
I have owned two and the front sight fell off both when shot.
I shipped one back to have it replaced and it also fell off after about 8 rounds.

Mine still has the front sight, but then I have never shot it. Quite a few years ago there was a gun shop that had a sale on Freedom Arms revolvers for just over $100 each. They were brand new & every single one had the front sight missing.
