Just got my holster from Rick today, and as usual top notch workmanship. Thanks again Rick for the prompt service, wish more companies would have the same commitment as yours does. Oh yeah almost forgot the pictures.

Gus and Warty.  You have great taste.  I've been waiting to get off probation to show you mine.  Rick's designs and craftsmanship show thru and thru.  I got my holster a few weeks ago and it's starting to form to my leg.  Hardly prints at all.

I want your mailman. Mine doesn't leave great stuff like this.

  That's a shame Mike , FUNNY but still a shame .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

You have to take care of that Paducah.  Last week I had a note from the Post Office in mine.  Seems mine had a yellow jacket nest and the mailman got stung.  I was told no more mail until I took care of it.  I'll bet your holsters are piling up at your local P.O.

I just like the tan leather look, ricks number is on my speed dial for my next one , maybe a sidewinder?

Honky Tonk Man

I like that tan look too.  Mine was chestnut.  I don't think Rick makes any ugly ones.  All good!  Have you shot your's yet, Gus?  I took mine to the range Saturday.  It was surprisingly accurate with magnum loads, but nothing to brag about with .22LR.  Maybe just the ammo?  I was shooting up some .22LR Blaser rounds I bought during the drought.  First I thought I was just getting tired, so I switched back to the magnums, and the groups tightened up.  I'll try some other LR soon.  Love the standard sights and especially the grips on the BW.

Have one for my Sidewinder....(pic below) 8)

I really like Rick's work a lot.  I plan to have him make some fixed blade knife sheaths for me eventually too.  I too am a Tan Leather person but now and then I get other colors like Cordovan or even black.

How is the draw the draw?  Does it slide right out or do you need to hold down the holster or pull it free a might before an easy draw?

Received mine today. Nice craftsmanship and fantastic turnaround.
I'm looking forward to breaking it over the next few weeks.

Monedraws nice, I took some time and put it in my pocket and drew a bunch of times, some without being in pocket too.  It turned out to be a very easy draw.

A good holster should have a little retention, you should be able to turn it upside down and the gun does not fall out, but still draws easily  ;D They may be a little tight when new but they break in nicely :)

Bj

For the draw, I like to pull the mini from the holster inside the pocket with my middle finger on the grip and my thunb pressing slighly on the holster by the hammer.  The thumb keeps the holster in place in the pocket to release the mini from the holster.  As the mini comes free my thumb is already by the hammer and my trigger finger is free for use on the trigger when desired.  It works for me anyway.

I pray Inever need to use a firearm for defense.

After the holster breaks in a bit it should pull right out of one's pocket with one hand.
One's thumb rests on the thumb push while their hand grips the frame and pulls the pistol leaving the holster in the pocket.

Great looking holster Rick. Now if it was only in black and for a Pug it would be perfect in my opinion.  ;)
