Hello y'all,
I want to buy eather the full belt buckle or the skeleton one. The skeleton one is the one I'm leaning towards. I would appreciate any feedback , and experience that anyone has with them
Thanks in advance,
Gunsmyth

I have the big one (newer) and my only gripe is the small spring loaded clip that holds the trigger on the buckle is a pain to open fully to get in or out. It hits the small round NAA part on bottom of buckle. Plus a little heavy.

Hey . . Gunsmyth . . . WELCOME to the Forum!  Glad to see you popping in with a question.  But stick around the firing line and express your opinions, hope, dreams, and trials too.  And don't forget a picture or two.  But great to have you!!

BTW . . I have nothing I can say about the gun buckles.  But enjoyed this one when I was just a small squirt . . .

Here is a picture of my mini with buckle. Notice no front sight? Anyway like I said I have a hard time getting the gun out of the buckle with the attachment swing arm at bottom of buckle. If I ever needed it quick I would be up the creek. Anyway it is a nice buckle but a little heavy. I had a skeleton buckle a while ago and got rid of it. Wished I would have kept it. :-\

First, Welcome! I have what most might consider a "beer belly". I can't wear the buckle and sit down for any length of time, as the hammer digs in. Other wise, I like my skeleton buckle just fine.

Welcome! I for one have not used one. I am not sure how the local LEOs would view that one...

Welcome Gunsmyth!

I have a couple of the newer version and would likely let one of them go.
I have all of them, but only really need one to keep the collection complete.

Welcome gunsmyth. I have the skeletonized buckle and it seems to hold the gun secure and makes it easily accessible. I'm happy with it.

I remember the skeleton buckle I got rid of. The hammer protrudes right into your stomach with the dreaded dun lap disease when seating. Other than that it was a pretty neat buckle.

Does anyone have any experience with the older pewter skeletonized buckles mod NAA-BB-LR ?

I would be surprised if you have all of them. Over the years there have been quite a variety. Need a picture to see if there are any I notice are missing.
