Laserlyte grips on the 22LR

I purchased one of these neat little pistols used.  It had the laserlyte grips.  My FFL removed the cylinder to show me it was unloaded.  The laser worked then.  It worked when I got home.  When I reinstalled the cylinder it didn't work.  Is there something I need to do other than tap the button at the bottom of the grip?  Could I have accidentally turned them manually off while I was working to get the cylinder back in?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only switch is the momentary switch in the grip.  You can't "turn it off".  A common problem is the switch sticking and draining the battery.  You also could just have a dead battery as it could have been on a shelf a long time.  Try replacing the batteries with new ones.  If that doesn't work, contact laserlyte for warranty service:

I won't carry a laser device... unless it has stun, kill, and disintegrate settings.

Personally not a fan of Laserlyte. I have had 3 of the original Laserlyte Venoms for the BLack Widow and none of them have worked correctly; two had parts fall off, one is 6" left and low relative to point of aim. They never did make it right. NAA worked hard to get me a good one, but nope, nothing worked the way it should.I won't buy another from that company.

Lasers on Minis has been discussed a 1000 times, pretty much the consensus there not worth the trouble and are really not needed on a mini 8)

I asked Crimson trace to make a laser for the 4" Mini Master in .22 mag.  With a 4" barrel you should be able to reach out and touch someone from more than a few feet away.  Just go to their "contact us" page and they have a form to request new products.  The only way they will make something new is to have enough people ask for it.  Go ahead and fill out the little form, takes less than 1 min.  Thanks
